Marlo, in a sarcastic tone, acts clueless and pushes Drew to use the word "shooting" to describe what happened. Kandi insists that it was a private matter. Then, breaking the fourth wall, Marlo looks away from the cameras and directly addresses the cameramen and producers, announcing that she's leaving because, in her words, "Kandi Burruss can only talk about what she wants." Kandi fires back, asking Marlo to explain the time she allegedly cut someone's face with a knife.

In her confessional, Marlo revealed that she had tragically lost her nephew to gun violence two years ago. At one point, her nephew had worked for Kandi at OLG. When Marlo shared this devastating news with Kandi, she felt that Kandi showed no care or concern. When Marlo brought it up again during filming, Kandi acted as if she had no knowledge of the situation. In her confessional, Marlo expressed that no one could force Kandi to talk about something she didn't want to, but this time, Marlo was determined to "call her out."
While the death of Marlo's nephew was undeniably tragic, and Kandi's feigned ignorance was peculiar and rude, it wasn't entirely clear how this directly related to Drew's choice of words.
