Kandi Burruss snaps back at Marlo Hampton

Marlo, who seems to hold a grudge against Kandi, isn't shy about expressing her belief that Kandi gets to choose what she talks about. But Marlo is particularly upset about the discussions surrounding the shooting incident at Blaze, or rather the lack of it. During a brunch where the women gather to discuss their conflicts, things take an interesting turn after Drew's underwhelming interaction with Candiace from 'RHOP'. As they delve into their drama, Drew brings up what she calls the "incident" at Blaze.

Marlo, in a sarcastic tone, acts clueless and pushes Drew to use the word "shooting" to describe what happened. Kandi insists that it was a private matter. Then, breaking the fourth wall, Marlo looks away from the cameras and directly addresses the cameramen and producers, announcing that she's leaving because, in her words, "Kandi Burruss can only talk about what she wants." Kandi fires back, asking Marlo to explain the time she allegedly cut someone's face with a knife.

In her confessional, Marlo explains that she feels her castmates always bring up her past, like her mugshots or her dating life with older White men, but when it comes to Kandi, they sweep it under the rug. Personally, she does not think this is a fair assessment of how the show works. It seems like almost everyone in this cast has become selective about what they reveal. She further continues to say that Shereé is all about illusions and secrets while Kandi keeps repeating the same storylines and that we don't know much about Sanya yet. Drew and Kenya have arguably been the most open in sharing what's happening in their personal lives. She also feels that social media has created a fear of being canceled or saying the wrong thing on camera, making the Housewives even more cautious in crafting a specific image for themselves to please their fans.

Marlo Hampton calls out Drew Sidora

The feud between Drew and Marlo was far from resolved, even after the cameras stopped rolling. Just 30 minutes after production wrapped for the day, tensions flared up again, prompting the cameras to start rolling once more. It all started when Marlo took offense to Drew referring to the incident at Blaze as an "incident" instead of a "shooting." In the part of the conversation captured on camera, Drew denied any intention of manufacturing a dramatic moment, which Marlo seemed to imply. However, Marlo persisted in questioning why Drew hadn't used the term "shooting," and gradually, she began to unravel.

In a puzzling twist, Marlo somehow turned Drew's reluctance to say "shooting" on camera into a competition about who was more sensitive to gun violence. In her confessional, Marlo revealed that she had tragically lost her nephew to gun violence two years ago. At one point, her nephew had worked for Kandi at OLG. When Marlo shared this devastating news with Kandi, she felt that Kandi showed no care or concern. When Marlo brought it up again during filming, Kandi acted as if she had no knowledge of the situation. In her confessional, Marlo expressed that no one could force Kandi to talk about something she didn't want to, but this time, Marlo was determined to "call her out."

While the death of Marlo's nephew was undeniably tragic, and Kandi's feigned ignorance was peculiar and rude, it wasn't entirely clear how this directly related to Drew's choice of words. Nevertheless, the entire situation clearly triggered intense emotions in Marlo. Confused, Drew attempted to walk away from the conversation, but Marlo repeatedly yelled, "My nephew is dead," before storming out, concluding with one final scream directed at Drew's face.
