While viewers had hoped to see progress in Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman's marriage, the premiere episode of 'RHOA' season 14 seems to have taken a different route. After the whole Tampa scene and visits to marriage counselors, Drew is still shocked to find herself in the dark.

Drew was frequently taped with her family rather than the 'RHOA' ladies at the start of her debut season. Ralph left the house and drove to Tampa without telling Drew where he was going, which enraged the fans. Drew felt betrayed and hurt by him, so they went to an outdoor couples counseling session with their therapist. As they prepared to move into a new home, the couple seemed to be doing much better, and Ralph was a real gentleman during Drew's dinner party with the ladies.

While fans expected to see the couple in a much better situation, they were left utterly disappointed as a new problem arose in the marriage. The season premiere showed the couple meet new housewife Sanya Richards-Ross and her husband, Aaron Ross, at the gym, and they seemed to get along well. The wives started talking while working out, while the husbands didn't mind chatting up themselves.

Drew revealed to Sanya that she discovered texts on Ralph's phone from his assistant offering him a massage. Not only were the texts upsetting to her as a wife, but Ralph's continual denial caused her to reconsider their marriage. Drew felt deceived by Ralph's behavior because they had agreed to work on their marriage by going to counselling and having a more open conversation this time. She also mentioned Ralph's emphatic statement that if given the choice between her and his dreams, he would choose the latter. This prompted her to leave her home and fly off to Chicago with the kids.

While Drew expressed her fears about her marriage to her new acquaintance, Ralph, on the other hand, mocked Drew's behavior. Ralph criticized his wife, arguing that she is overreacting to the situation and that her actions are irrational. He explained to Aaron that he planned to publish a book on his experiences as a stepfather, which is why he recruited this individual to assist him with his business. He argues that there is no unprofessional behavior between the two, and that everything is entirely business.

Later on in the episode, when Sanya and Kandy stop by Drew's place to assist in tasting her company's food products, Drew opens up to them about her marriage and asks if she is in the wrong. Both Sanya and Kandy assure her that she is right to doubt her husband. Ralph enters the kitchen overhearing the ladies and asks Drew what side of the tale she was presenting them. However, when Kandy asks him how he responded to his assistant's massage proposal, Ralph brushes it off with a vague "i'mma guy."

Further, pressed to recall what happened between the two, Ralph fumbles. While the ladies explain to him how his response could easily mislead someone, he walks away, realizing he didn't have a response.

At Marlo's party, a concerned Drew turns to Kandy and Kenya. Kandy reveals how she snooped around and found the "assistant's" social media profile, pointing at a specific post that seemed alarming to her. The post seemed to be addressed to Drew, specifically the conversation she was having with the ladies and Ralph at their house the other night. Drew grows upset upon hearing this, since she was under the impression Ralph had cut off all his ties with the assistant. Kenya suggests Drew has a one-on-one talk with him and tell him what she wants after seeing how her husband shared their private matters with the assistant.

Even while their current social media activity displays them having the best of their lives in "paradise," we witness them having troubles in the same "paradise" not long ago (the most recent season was shot sometime around Fall, 2021). It's definitely feasible that Ralph cheated on Drew in Tampa and is now lying about his relationship with his assistant, but there are likely many aspects of their marriage that the show has yet to reveal.
