The month of Christmas is almost here and while holiday lights start twinkling and gifts get wrapped, let's not forget about the mistletoe magic. Lifetime has an impressive line-up of Christmas movies and 'Rediscovering Christmas' is coming up mid-December with some major feels. The gorgeous Jessica Lowndes stars in this Lifetime original movie - a story of how the merry season sparks an unexpected romance.

'Rediscovering Christmas' a Lifetime original movie will premiere on December 15, 2019.

Plot

Mia (played by Jessica Lowndes), a Boston department window designer is eager to leave the exhaustion of Christmas behind. With her display perfectly set and relaxation on her mind, she's looking forward to enjoying the holidays on a sunny beach vacation with her sister. Santa, on the other hand, had other plans! Having to reroute her vacay to her family's Connecticut town, she has to help her sister design decor for the town's annual snowflake festival Christmas eve dance. While there, she finds herself in the company of Adam played by B.J. Britt, whose grandparents started this heart-warming festival 60 years ago. Stubborn yet devoted Adam manages to catch Mia's eye and sparks are set to fly this Christmas!

Jessica Lowndes who plays Mia in this Lifetime original is a Canadian actress, known for her role in The CW teen series '90210' as Adrianna Tate-Duncan. She has also appeared in several Hallmark movies.

B J Britt

B.J. Britt who plays Mia's love interest Adam is an American actor known for his work as Antoine Triplett in 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' (2013), 'Peaceful Warrior' (2006) and 'Vampires Suck' (2010).

'Rediscovering Christmas' is the fourth Christmas TV movie by director Colin Theys who has previously directed 'Christmas at Pemberley Manor' and 'A Very Nutty Christmas.' It is written by Karen Schaler, a three-time Emmy award-winning producer, author, and national TV host. She's earned the name "Christmas Karen" after landing a three-book publishing deal with HarperCollins for Christmas novels. She has written original screenplays for Hallmark, Netflix and Lifetime holiday movies.
