When Miami's very own Brazilian Bombshell aka Adriana de Moura made her big debut back in 2011 on 'Real Housewives of Miami', little did she know that she would soon become one of the most loved housewives of the franchise. Fans thoroughly enjoyed watching her blossoming romance with her then french boyfriend Frederic Marq. Just before the show was canceled in 2013, Adriana and Frederic had a beautiful wedding ceremony that was broadcast to Bravo fans.

While Adriana's life seemed like a fairytale at that time, it seems like this Brazilian bombshell underwent a lot of pain and trauma prior to meeting Frederic. The housewife mentioned in passing that she was married to the father of her son for a brief period of time and that they divorced after she found out that he had another secret family. Adriana kept things very vague and didn't go into many details and understandably so, considering she accused her ex-husband Roberto Sidi of choking and raping her. If you're curious to know more about Adriana's first marriage then keep reading.

Who is Adriana de Moura's first husband?

Before meeting Frederic and falling head over heels in love with him, Adriana was married to a man named Roberto Sidi. The details of how Roberto and Adriana met and when they married are unknown. However, on 'RHOM' the housewife revealed that she left Roberto after she discovered that he was having an affair with someone else, and was common law married to a 17-year-old girl via a phone call.

The couple initially divorced in 2001, but rekindled their relation briefly after they moved to Florida from Texas. The couple split up once and for all in 2006. Starcasm reported that in legal papers filed by Adriana to get primary custody of their son Alex Sidi, the housewife revealed some extremely shocking details of their marriage. The outlet reported that the legal papers revealed that in December 2006, Roberto allegedly threatened and raped the 'RHOM' star. "In these papers filed by Adriana (45) she claimed that following an argument in December 2006 Roberto dragged her into a bedroom, ripped off her clothes and threatened her repeatedly by stating he was going to kill her.  Then, according to Adriana’s statement, Mr. Sidi choked her into submission and raped her while their very young son Alex was asleep in the room next door," stated the outlet.

When the housewife was contacted for her comment on this, the housewife reportedly told the outlet, "The court papers speak for themselves.  Whatever I went through in my marriage and afterward, I said enough on the show.  I don’t want to relive any more of it for my son’s sake.” Roberto denied all of the allegations against him and in 2008 agreed to return ALex's primary custody to Adriana.

What happened to Adriana de Moura after 'RHOM' Season 3?

After her nightmarish first marriage, Adriana fell in love with French designer Frederic. The couple's fairytale romance unfortunately didn't survive for too long. During an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen' in May 2021, the housewife confirmed that she split up with her second husband but didn't reveal any details about it. She just said, "Yes, it was sad. But I’m now newly single and ready to mingle.”

So, we might get to see Adriana dipping her toes into the dating pool on the upcoming season 4 of 'RHOM'.

'Real Housewives of Miami' Season 4 is all set to premiere on December 16, on Peacock.
