'Queens' Episode 12: Naomi tells Eric she loves him, fans say she can 'do better'

The rapper and her manager have always had a rocky on and off relationship but her latest confession of love didn't sit right with viewers

It's Tuesday night and ABC's musical drama series 'Queens' finally returned from its break for more banging music as the women rappers slowly take on the music industry once more on their return to fame.

Previously on 'Queens' we saw the whole lady gang slowly recruiting other female artists in their mission to build a women-led music label that lets them shine without depending on others. Personal issues also play a role as we saw Naomi's daughter Jojo wanting to drop out of school to be a rapper like her mom. While her mother is against her dropping out, her father Eric gives her a chance and she stuns in the recording booth. With the musical story continuing here's what happened on tonight's episode of 'Queens' and how fans reacted.

The episode begins as we see Naomi and Erin in bed together all cozy and although Naomi wants to keep it casual it is implied that he wants to be more. We also saw the group have their anniversary and decide to celebrate with an album re-release but we learn that Eric's ex-wife has the rights to them. Lying about running errands he goes to get the deal done privately but upon failing comes clean to Naomi who is upset and hurt saying he has never given her a reason to trust her. Later on, we see her talk to his ex herself which ends up with her finding out that Eric has always been in love with her and has felt that she was the only one for him, leaving her emotional.

After successfully getting the right she comes home to Eric giving him a hug and telling him she loves him with the two sharing a heartfelt kiss. Now the man didn't say it back and has always been messy. We know of his two-timing history with Naomi and Valeria which made Naomi doubt herself for years. Add to it his constant mess-ups with their music and fans were not having it. Th

I wish they would stop forcing this relationship. #QueensABC", while another commented, "I need Naomi, Robin and Valeria to tell me exactly what they saw Eric to give their love away when all he did was screw ALLL of them over. #QueensABC". A tweet read, "Naomi and Eric are going to try again #QueensABC". 

A viewer said, "Let me guess, this conversation of “it’s always been you” is going to lead Naomi to give Eric another chance #QueensABC", ", as another exclaimed, "#QueensABC NAOMI WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THAT FINE ASS MAN RODRIGO??? YOU LET HIS ASS GO FOR ERIC?? ERIC? YOU COULD HAVE GIVEN HIM TO ME!!!!!!". Yet another user shared the sam sentiment saying, "Eric keeps fucking up time after time. Naomi and Eric don't need to be together. #QueensABC".
