When 'Project Runway' first premiered in 2004, little did anybody know what a massive success the design show would turn out to be. Featuring aspiring fashion designers competing for a chance to showcase their collection at the New York Fashion Week, the show was an instant hit, which explains its long-reigning tenure of 19 seasons! With season 19 just wrapped up, fans are already curious about season 20. 

Although Bravo hasn't made any official announcement about the new season of the Emmy-winning competition series, it's just a matter of time before the new season is announced. Considering the show's popularity, it's highly unlikely that the network will cancel the show. What is 'Project Runway' all about?

'Project Runway' features aspiring fashion designers competing with each other in various challenges under a strict time limit and budget constraint. The designs are judged by a panel, and one or more designers are typically eliminated from the show each week. During each season, contestants are progressively eliminated until only a few contestants remain. These finalists prepare complete fashion collections for New York Fashion Week. After the runway shows, the judges choose the winner. Aside from the high fashion, the show is also popular for the juicy drama and the tension between the designers during the competition.

Who stars on 'Project Runway' Season 20?

Season 19 of 'Project Runway' featured Christian Siriano, the winner of 'Project Runway' season 4 returning as the mentor. The show's longtime judge and the editor-in-chief of Elle Magazine Nina Garcia is returning as the judge alongside Elaine Welteroth, former editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue and co-host of 'The Talk', and celebrity designer Brandon Maxwell were the regular panel of judges. Each episode featured a guest judge.
