As the run-up to the finale of 'Project Runway' Season 19 is inching closer, fans are already placing their guesses on which designer might win the season. Following Bones Jones' elimination on the recently aired episode, only four designers are left in the running for the winning title.

Coral Castillo, Chasity Sereal, Kristina Kharlashkina, and Shantall Lacayo, are the final four designers competing for the win. Even though both Chasity and Shantall have a record-breaking number of four wins under their belt, fans however are convinced that Shantal might take home the grand prize. Read on to know why.

'Project Runway': Christian Siriano saves Shantall Lacayo from 'unfair elimination'

Since day one, Shantall caught the eyes of the judges Nina Garcia, Brandon Maxwell, and Elaine Welteroth, with her unique designs. This Nicaraguan-born designer even managed to bag the coveted Siriano Save vote from the show's mentor Christian Siriano when she was eliminated by the judges. Her knowledge of fabrics, and silhouettes, have impressed the judges, especially Nina Garcia.

After watching the recently aired episode where Shantall was once again crowned the winner of the challenge, and listening to the judges rave about her work, fans believe that she might win the season. A fan tweeted, "Shantall definitely won this season. It’s clear. #ProjectRunway." Another fan wrote, "There's a 99% chance shantall is gonna win this season and half of that is bcuz she’s nina’s fav #ProjectRunway." "The judges picked Shantall. Playing favorites #ProjectRunway," pointed out a fan. Another fan added, "Shantal is your winner this season. I'm taking bets #ProjectRunway."



 



 



 



 

Shantall Lacayo on 'Project Runway' (Bravo)

Born in Managua, Nicaragua in May 1984, Shantall grew up in a very artistic surrounding. She took to sewing at the tender age of four thanks to her grandmother's guidance. Shantall got her big break when she managed to secure a spot on 'Project RunwayLatin America' in 2010. She emerged as the first runner-up on the show. Just as things were beginning to look up for the designer, her husband and she had to flee Nicaragua to escape the political violence in the country. She resides in Miami with her husband and their son. Shantall currently runs Shantall Lacayo S.A., a family business that she runs with her mother which was created to promote unique designs that are produced with a social conscience. 

'Project Runway' season 19 airs every Thursday at 9/8c on Bravo.
