LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After continuously making us laugh with her witty jokes and impeccable style, Prime Video's treasured gem 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' is back with a humorous fifth season. Unfortunately, this will be the last and final season to watch Mrs Maisel perform on stage and dazzle us with her looks and sarcasm. The first three episodes will release on April 14, and new episodes will be released weekly. The fifth season will see the immense growth that led to the successful stand-up comic career of Mrs Maisel.

While the show has made quite a name for itself for its humor, the perfect representation of how the world worked in 1958, is truly exceptional. The show contemplates many hidden topics, such as no female writers in the talk show business and how immensely the TV business has changed since then. Season 5 of 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' will feature Rachel Brosnahan, Michael Zegen, Alex Borstein, among others.

'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' Season 5: Release date and how to watch

Equipped with a quick wit and sharp tongue

Season 5 found Midge rebuilding her career and reputation after a series of major roadblocks in her flourishing career. The final moments of the season came to a halt with Midge leaving Carnegie Hall with more zest and ready to weather any blizzard, figuratively and literally. Season 5 starts with Midge getting stuck in a blizzard and coming home cold as an ice popsicle. Her parents call Susie, her manager, and get her to know what might have happened to their daughter. But, things seem unusual when Midge starts to speak gibberish, and upon discovery, Susie finds her toe turned black, having caught frostbite.

Things eventually become better and Midge gets back to her routine, with a horrible Thanksgiving day, when the entire family visits and creates chaos, hinting at the fact that for so many decades, Thanksgiving has always been a tough holiday and brings the storm of big news and family members trying to show off their year's achievements.

Midge loses hope for her career but Susie is hell-bent to bring her back

Season 5 picked up in 1960, with Midge hoping to make a bigger splash after a career setback. After losing a plum gig opening for a major act when she spoke a little too frankly, Midge is having trouble getting booked. The entire tension is back in Season 5 with more intensity. But, as every female friendship goes, Susie doesn't give up and runs after the manager of an incredibly famous talk show host and asks him to take on Midge for just one act, but he refuses and asks her to never step foot in his office. The question that is raised by the end of the episode is will Midge become famous? Is there a place in the stardom world for her comedic timing? Watch 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' Season 5 exclusively available to watch on Prime Video.
