People's Choice Award: 'DWTS' star Ariana Madix deemed unworthy of winning Competition Contestant of the Year
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Vanderpump Rules' star Ariana Madix is thriving! Once again, she became the talk of the town by winning Competition Contestant of the Year at the People's Choice Awards 2024. However, it seems that some people disapproved of Ariana being considered worthy of the award.
Nominated for her dazzling performances on 'Dancing With the Stars,' Ariana faced stiff competition, including Xochitl Gomez for 'DWTS,' Charity Lawson for 'The Bachelorette,' Theresa Nist for 'The Golden Bachelor,' Keke Palmer for 'That’s My Jam,' Iam Tongi for 'American Idol,' and Anetra and Sasha Colby for 'RuPaul’s Drag Race.'
Despite the official 'DWTS' page celebrating Ariana's triumph, critics argue that other contestants were more deserving. One commented, "So she didn't win on DWTS so. We just had to find another way for her to get something huh.. in that case Jason Mraz should have gotten this."
Another claimed, "Xochitl or Jason definitely deserved it over Ariana." "Robbed, shouldve been xochitl," commented another. Another joked, "Lol still gassing her up as if she was that great." "Should of been Xochitl," commented another.
One disagreed with Ariana's winning, saying, "People obviously never watched her from the beginning. She’s always been a mean person."
'I am so proud of you': BF Daniel Wai drools over 'DWTS' star Ariana Madix
During 'DWTS' Season 32, Ariana's boyfriend, Daniel Wai, stood by her side and supported her. After the show concluded, Daniel uploaded a video capturing all of Ariana's memorable moments from the season and celebrated his girlfriend. He captioned the post, "It was the wave for me! This is an appreciation post for @arianamadix I am so proud of you and you are so amazing and to me you are the champ, the people's champ."
