'DWTS' Season 32 Semi-Finals: Judges accused of 'favoritism' as Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy bag perfect score
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy secured a flawless score in the Semi-finals of 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 32, earning a perfect 30/30.
However, despite the high praise from judge Carrie Ann Inaba, fans questioned whether the couple's performance lived up to the hype.
Carrie Ann Inaba had lavished acclaim on the couple's Samba, stating, "That was spectacular," and went on to describe their routine as "one of the most difficult."
She specifically commended Xochitl, saying, "Your flexibility, your, like the bounce, the smooth, everything, I mean you're a star."
Notably, none of the judges pointed out any mistakes in the couple's performance.
Seeing Xochitl and Val bag 30/30 made an Instagram fan claim, "I like her but that was not 3 ten worthy The judges are picking favorites again. Jason and Adrianna did better."
Another noticed, "I think it was wild like in the arms but yea she has done better." A fan dubbed the score to be, "overmarked for me, the bounce was nonexistent. love her though!"
One commented, "She was unsure of herself and didn't deserve the score. The other 2 did better." Another called out the judges, "Here goes the favoritism with the judges AGAIN! She could have done better with the leg work and could have used more pizzazz! More of a POP!!!"
A fan commented, "She looked too nervous and wasn’t hitting that Latin sass and movement of hips. Definitely didn’t deserve all tens but I love her so I can’t complain."

Furthermore, Derek expressed astonishment at the meticulous details incorporated into the jive and the abundance of star-studded moves.
Bruno Tonioli dubs Xochitl Gomez 'Samba diva' in 'DWTS' Season 32 Semi-Finals
When asked to comment, Bruno Tonioli moved his body and said, "I was still at the party. I think the whole of America was still at the party," after witnessing the couple's performance in the Semi-Finals.
Stunned by Xochitl's moves, Bruno added, "This was not true, you had never done this before." The judge then asserted, "She was the Samba diva."
"The content was the essence of the Samba, nothing was left out," Bruno concluded.
