When does ‘Painting with John’ Season 2 release and where can you watch it?

'Painting with John' second season will premiere on HBO on February 18 at 11 pm ET, and will be available to stream on HBO Max later.



 

What is ‘Painting with John’ Season 2 all about? 

Part meditative tutorial, part fireside chat, this unscripted comedy series is directed by and stars cult favourite musician, actor, director, painter, and The Lounge Lizards cofounder John Lurie. In each episode, Lurie hones his intricate watercolour techniques and shares his reflections on what he's learned about life.

Who stars on ‘Painting with John’ Season 2?

John Lurie
John Lurie is a painter, musician, and actor. He and his brother Evan formed The Lounge Lizards jazz ensemble in 1978, and the band lasted 20 years. Lurie has also created film music, with his soundtrack for Get Shorty (1995) receiving a Grammy nomination. He starred in Jim Jarmusch's films Stranger Than Paradise (1984) and Down by Law (1986). (1986). Lurie created, directed, produced, and starred in the TV series Fishing with John in the early 1990s (1991). He was diagnosed with Lyme illness not long after. His concentration has switched to painting, and his work has been exhibited in galleries and museums all around the world.



 

'Painting with John' also features Nesrin Wolf and Ann Mary Gludd James.
