LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA:  AMC's 'Orphan Black: Echoes' immerses viewers in an alarming universe set in the near future where identity is a synthetic fabrication.

The narrative focuses on a young lady called Lucy (Krysten Ritter), who awakens in a medical facility with no knowledge of her background and quickly realizes she is a printed human.

Lucy flees the institution, confused and repelled by her background, and seeks refuge with Jack (Avan Jogia), a single parent, and his daughter Charlie (Zariella Langford-Haughton).

However, when an event alerts the Additive Foundation to Lucy's whereabouts, she is forced to go on a dangerous voyage of self-discovery as she faces the horrific consequences of her synthetic birth.

Wes (Liam Diaz) discovers Jules (Amanda Fix) searching her room for drugs. Jules reveals her intention to leave, prompting Neva (Alexandra Castillo) to offer encouragement and ice cream, demonstrating her concern, but Jules eventually flees the place.

Lucy and Jack explain to Charlie why a stranger is after her where Lucy acknowledges that she is a printed human.

Later, Jules, curious about her shared past with Lucy, joins them.

They paint together, attempting to recall memories associated with a knife.

Jules and Lucy look for clues, which leads them to a frozen pong game where they corroborate recollections.

A conflict occurs, prompting Lucy to run with Dr. Kira Manning (Keeley Hawes), who discloses that Lucy was made out of love.

Lucy and Jack's admission to Charlie about her origins might lead to important developments, particularly as they traverse the complications of Lucy's creation by a machine.

Kira's engagement and commitment to defend Lucy indicate that their journey is far from over, with more dramatic disclosures and confrontations coming.
