Emma Watson reunites with Harry Potter co-star and one-time crush Tom Felton in Los Angeles
Watson, who is known for her emphatic efforts in the worldwide feminism scenario, met Felton back during the initial days of shooting their first Harry Potter film together.
Emma Watson is all encouragement and nothing else for her 'Harry Potter' buddy, Tom Felton. In the last few days before the release of Felton's upcoming YouTube Original series, 'Origin', Watson posted one of the cutest throwbacks of the two, basking around and just chilling in the sun, as she promoted his sci-fi thriller to her millions of social media followers, accompanied by the cutest message ever in honor of her friend.
Taking to Instagram, everybody's beloved Hermione from the Harry Potter franchise posted a photo of herself and Felton enjoying a day in some major beachy, sunny vibes. She captioned it writing: "Tom’s @origin_seriesis out on 14th November. Congrats dear friend. #TFToleratingmysubparskatingskillssince1999." The skating skills reference made clear in the follow-up video clip she added in the same post, where the two of them can be seen skating in the sun, with Watson freaking out a little bit in the back as Felton skated the two of them around.

Watson, who is known for her emphatic efforts in the worldwide feminism scenario, met Felton back during the initial days of shooting their first Harry Potter film together, titled 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.'
The two grew up on the sets of the movie franchise, alongside fellow Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. Despite the tight-knit friendship between Radcliffe, Grint, and Watson, her bond with Felton was always brought out with a hint of romance rumors - primarily because in the later years to come, Watson had publicly spoken about having a crush on the tall, blonde, sleek-haired Felton back in their initial days of shooting for the films.
"For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush," she had told Seventeen magazine. "He totally knows. We talked about it – we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that's cool." Of course, Felton cleared all that up saying nothing of the romantic sort ever really happened between the two, but it's just a wholesome feeling to see how tight the two of them still are, even seven years after the release of the last and final Harry Potter film, Deathly Hallows part 2.
As for Felton's upcoming YouTube series 'Origin', it's a very 'Black Mirror' meets the original 'Aliens' kind of space-adventure thriller that comes out this November 14. The official synopsis of the series describes it as: "From the producers of The Crown & producers of Lost comes Origin, a chilling new original series that follows a group of troubled passengers as they wake up on a damaged spaceship abandoned in deep space. Each having left behind a dark past in search of a fresh start on a newly colonized planet, they’re determined to survive at all costs. But as their terrifying situation spirals into paranoia, they come to realize that the greatest threat to their dream of starting over – and indeed their lives – is something far darker than the pasts they were so desperate to escape."
