ONEUS gets 10M views for ‘Luna’ MV in 48 hours, personal best for rookie band

'Luna' or ‘Wolha Beauty’ became the fastest video from ONEUS to record 10 million views within the first 48 hours and crosses 15M views by November 13

The K-pop group ONEUS made their comeback with their sixth mini-album, ‘Blood Moon’ on November 9, and appeared on KBS’ ‘Music Bank’ to perform their track on the music show on November 12. Following their performance for ‘Luna’ (also known as Wolha Beauty, the group recorded amazing responses from fans as they were soon dubbed as ‘stage genius’ by giving an undisputed performance. ONEUS overwhelmed the audience with a beautiful as well as moving performance while also having a tight-knit choreography.

ONEUS’ ‘Blood Moon’ follows a mysterious story about the Korean legend of Jeokwoldo. The concept for this album transcends from the past to the present well as is full of bright oriental colors promising a lasting impact in the hearts of fans. The title track, ‘Luna’, is a song based on traditional Korean music with a combination of oriental instruments and flutes. The group made its comeback with the album and its title track, ‘Luna’ stylized as (月下美人: LUNA). With only two days following the release of their music video, the group has recorded a new high. The music video for ‘Luna’ or as translated, ‘Beauty under the Moon’ video has crossed 10 million views under 48 hours of its release and now is soaring high towards 15 million-plus views for the group.

This is ONEUS’ fastest music video to record such high view counts which is a wonderful feat for a rookie K-pop group. With this new achievement, ONEUS is opening new possibilities for their future endeavors breaking their own past records. The last music video from ONEUS titled, ‘Black Mirror’ which was part of their last album titled, ‘Binary Code’ was their last video to reach 10 million views in three days making a new record from the group’s past releases.

It seems like ONEUS has decided to keep one-upping themselves as the music video for ‘Luna’ has such a high number of views and keeps soaring greater heights by the hour making it their most successful comeback.
