OJ Simpson's trial held in 1995 has often been called the "Trial of the [20th] century," and probably for good reason. The former NFL player, broadcaster, and actor was tried and acquitted on two counts of murder for slashing deaths of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman which happened in June 1994.

When Simpson did not turn himself in after he became a person of interest in the case, he became the object of a low-speed pursuit in a white 1993 Ford Bronco SUV owned and driven by his friend, Al Cowlings. Coverage of the 1994 NBA Finals was interrupted to broadcast the pursuit and was watched live by around 95 million people. The pursuit, arrest, and trial of OJ Simpson became one of the most publicized events in American history.

On the 25th anniversary of Simpson's acquittal, Court TV is set to air its true-crime docuseries, 'OJ25' so that viewers can have a marathon and relive the case. Read on to know more details about the event.
