'Obi-Wan Kenobi': Darth Vader's first look in Disney+ series gives fans the chills

Hayden Christensen is all set to reprise his role as Darth Vader in 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' and the second episode gave a first look at the character, leaving fans stunned. The new spin-off marks the third time he has played Anakin Skywalker following on from 'Attack of the Clones' and 'Revenge of the Sith'. Both of those prequel films were directed by 'Star Wars' creator George Lucas. This time around, Deborah Chow gets behind the director's lens.

'Obi-Wan Kenobi' revolves around the aftermath of Skywalker's turn to the Dark Force and the scar it leaves on his teacher (Ewan McGregor returns as Jedi Master Obi). As a quick refresher, the series does give a quick recap before switching to the new storyline. Needless to say, fans were ecstatic after getting their first look at Vader.

"Oh my god just watched #obiwankenobi and the last part where Darth Vader shows up got me so hyped!! Just hearing him breathe..chills," one of the fans wrote. All within just the first two episodes?! 10/10 already! I came!!! #ObiWanKenobi," a fan expressed excitement.

"Two minor issues with #ObiWanKenobi though: Reva knowing that Anakin is Darth Vader is huge and I'm not sure if it is a good choice. If she is one of the Padawans from the opening scene (which seems likely), than maybe that is why and we have a good explanation for it...," a tweet read.
