Hulu's newest drama 'No Man's Land' tells the story of the Syrian civil war through the eyes of Antoine. But more importantly, it tells the story of the all-female militia that fought in the Syrian civil war against ISIS. A Frenchman embarks on a journey to find his sister in a land he has never been to before.

'No Man's Land' dives into the depths of the Syrian civil war through the eyes of Antoine, a young French man, in search of his estranged, presumed to-be-dead sister. While unraveling the mystery, piece by piece, Antoine ends up joining forces with a unit of Kurdish female fighters, fierce women, and ISIS' biggest nightmare and travels with them in ISIS-occupied territory. Antoine's journey crosses paths with adventurers and anarchists, spies and innocent victims, and provides a unique look at the tragic events in Syria, and the way they affect the entire world.

The Hulu series is therefore filled with an international and diverse cast, many of whom may be unfamiliar to American audiences. Read on to know more about the cast members of 'No Man's Land' and the characters they will be playing.

Felix Moati is a French actor, film director, and screenwriter, known for his work in 'LOL', 'Pirate TV', 'Libre et Assoupi', 'Hippocrate', and 'Valentin'. He plays the role of Antoine Habert, a young and successful engineer, and entrepreneur.

On the outside, Antoine has a perfect life: he’s in a loving relationship, has supportive parents and his career is skyrocketing. But deep inside, Antoine is fractured. He is consumed by guilt and regret over the death of his sister, Anna, which he blames himself for. When he sees the face of a woman who looks like his sister on TV, it sparks incredible theories in his mind and shatters the normality he tried to maintain in his life. He goes on a journey to Syria, desperately looking for answers. There, he allows himself – for the first time in his life – to become part of something bigger. He won’t admit it right away, but he falls in love with this world and its culture, and he becomes emotionally attached to people he meets along the way and who become his brothers in arms.

Melanie Thierry is a French actress known for her work in 'Babylon AD', 'The Princess of Montpensier', and 'Memoir of War'. She plays the role of Antoine's sister, Anna Habert. Anna was an archeology student and a humanist, extremely charismatic and intelligent, but at the same time passionate and spontaneous. After a dramatic fight with Antoine and her parents, Anna breaks ties with her family. She becomes politically involved and is murdered in a mysterious terrorist attack in Cairo.

Souheila Yacoub

Souheila Yacoub is a Flemish-Tunisian-Swiss actress known for her work in 'Le Sel des Larmes', 'Les Sauvages', and 'Les Affamés'. She plays the role of Sarya Dogan, the daughter of Kurdish immigrants, and was raised in Paris. At the age of 16, Sarya’s mother passed away, and her father decided to return to Kurdistan. All at once, the girl was taken away from her familiar environment and cast into traditional, tribal society. As a Kurdish woman, her way of expressing herself, achieving independence and self-realization, was to join the YPJ, a women's protection society in Syria. As a Kurdish soldier, she was once again considered equal to her male counterparts.

The show also stars James Purefoy ('Altered Carbon', 'The Following', 'Rome') alongside Joe Ben Ayed, James Floyd, Dean Ridge, Julia Faure, François Caron, and Céline Samie.

'No Man's Land' will be available to stream on Hulu on Wednesday, November 18.
