'NCIS' Season 17 Episode 6: This week's rerun of an earlier episode hints at the return of Ziva and we are thrilled!
This week's air time for the CBS procedural 'NCIS' Season 17 Episode 6 was replaced by an older episode.
With the commencement of the sports games season and the annual "sweep-break" right around the corner, 'NCIS' decided it was the right time to take their random break in the middle of the season before the show goes on its designated mid-season break around the holidays.
Instead of the upcoming episode 'Institutionalized', 'NCIS' decided to air episode six titled 'She' from its previous season 16 — something that leads us to believe that we might see Ziva sooner.
Ziva, played by Cote de Pablo, finally returned in the premiere episode of 'NCIS' Season 17 after she was presumed to be dead for the last six years.
The last time we saw Ziva on the show was in 2013, and after she went missing, she was believed to have died — breaking the hearts of fans worldwide.
But before Ziva made her way back to our screens in Season 17, back in Season 16, one particular episode shared hints that Ziva might be still alive out there somewhere.
If you guessed that the episode was titled 'She', you are absolutely right!
Even when Ziva returned this season to the unanimous joy of fans and viewers, her stay was slightly short-lived. Just two episodes, in fact.
However, the cast listings for the entire season also carry Pablo's name in the latter half of the season — leading us to believe that she is going to be back pretty soon to wow and woo us as usual.
But the mere fact that the show decided to air that one specific episode right around the time when Pablo is expected to resume her role this season can't just be a coincidence right?
Hee's hoping Ziva finally comes back in the next episode and we get that Ziva, Tony, and Talia reunion that we have been aching for since time immemorial.
'NCIS' Season 17 returns with Episode 6 'Institutionalized' on Tuesday, November 5, at 8 pm only on CBS.
