It was the 250th episode of the CBS procedural 'NCIS: Los Angeles' and fans are beyond thrilled with what they got. Season 11's episode 10 titled 'Mother' focused on Hetty's former understudy gone rogue and while that posed an immense threat to her safety, there were graphic murder scenes, twisted criminals with morbid MOs and everybody's favorite Densi moments to keep fans hooked to this epic milestone. And for that, fans and viewers have come all out on social media to congratulate Eric Christian Olsen - the face of Deeks - who penned his first-ever script for this episode.

From a mangled body severed in half with carvings on its chest to Deeks and Kensi's prospect of finally having babies - there wasn't a stone left unturned by Olsen in tonight's episode. The official synopsis revealed: "A former black-ops agent originally recruited and trained by Hetty Lange, returns to seek revenge on Hetty for the life she introduced him to.” And in true NCIS: LA style, we got to saw who Hetty's golden-boy before Callen was and we also got to see the rogue side of the man scorned by the unfairness of a life he was pushed into. There was thrill, tension, drama, wholesome moments, hilarious comedy and more in Olsen's first-ever script and for that fans can't stop gushing about his job well done.

"This hands down becomes one of my favorite episodes this season, maybe even for the entire series of #ncisla. Bravo @ericcolsen!" shared a fan on Twitter, adding: "You did a phenomenal job! My heart was pounding, I was laughing, crying & screaming at my TV Screen. I hope you write more episodes soon." Another tweeted: "Definitely one of my all-time favorite episodes ever! This episode was on fire for the whole 45 minutes! Only now getting to catch my breath & it still somehow managed to have humor in it as well! Excellent work @ericcolsen and every single one involved!" Another fan also made the interesting observation that all of this high-octane development could be "setting up Hetty’s departure," and come to think of it - not impossible!

But while several fans emerged at the occasion to congratulate Olsen, a certain section of them were displeased about the mention of the Devil - and plots inclined towards supernatural horror on this season. "I’m DISGUSTED at the fact that your shows increasingly include plotlines dealing with the devil!," tweeted a viewer to the official CBS Twitter handle, adding: "I turned off @NCISLA
tonight. Still perplexed at your show @EvilCBS_ ! About ready to completely boycott."

'NCIS: Los Angeles' season 11 airs on Sundays at 9pm only on CBS.
