'Naomi' Episode 2: Naomi slowly embraces her powers to uncover truth

After Naomi's parents reveal they found her in the woods, they explain that they were hiking when they noticed bright lights falling from the sky. While searching for the wreckage, they found an abandoned child on a glowing disc -- Naomi. While they admit they were wrong for not having told her sooner, they also explain that they had settled into such an everyday life that they kept postponing it.

Naomi, who continues to train under Dee, invites him home to meet her parents as she finally tells them the entire truth. Naomi's parents are welcoming; however, there is hostile energy when they meet Dee. Naomi's quest for the disc continues as she confronts Zumbado head-on, demanding he gives it back to her. Zumbado does, citing that she doesn't know what she's dealing with. In an attempt to decode the disc, Naomi causes a massive power outage, but later, with the help of her friends, manages to extract information from it, which leads her to meet Akira.

Akira explains that both she and Naomi are from Earth 29 and that Zumbado is not to be trusted, seeing that he ruined their home planet. She also explains that the purpose of the disc was to help them 'find each other', but notes it was a bad idea before leaving. Naomi continues with her high school activities, including running for school president. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when a strange man, who previously confronted Zumbado, begins to hunt her down.

He claimed that many people were looking for her, and he was there to take her back to Earth 29. Naomi tries to fight him off but struggles, seeing that he can teleport. Thankfully, Dee comes to her aid and fights him off. They later have a heart to heart conversation about the importance of time and not being afraid to love. This prompts Naomi to accept her feelings for Nathan, as she shares a kiss with him at the end of the episode.
