Moving to a new town and changing schools can never be an easy thing for an impressionable teenager. Given how cutthroat kids can be these days, it's not just minor bullying that parents have to worry about. Bringing all of that and more to the screen, in the form of every parents' worst nightmare, is the upcoming Lifetime film 'My Daughter's Psycho Friend'. Amidst high school drama and flashy parties unfolds a story of horror and murder when the new girl gets wrongly accused of a murder that was technically the school's 'Queen Bee's' fault and thus sparks off a tale to watch out for.

Release date:

'My Daughter's Psycho Friend' premieres this Friday, March 20 at 8/7c, only on Lifetime.

Plot:

According to the official synopsis of the series provided by the network, "When Sierra moves to Los Angeles with her family and goes to a new school, she encounters the devious and psychotic Lexi and her posse of friends. Soon afterward at a party, a teenager dies as a result of a Lexi prank. When Lexi tries to frame Sierra for the kid’s death, Sierra fights back, putting her own life in danger."

Director:

The film is being directed by Michael Feifer, a producer, and director known for his works like 'Abandoned' (2010), 'Merry Kissmas' (2015) and 'A Christmas Wedding Tail' (2011). 

Cast:

Taylor Blackwell, best known for her role as Lauren Evans on the Starz original series 'Magic City', stars as Sierra in the Lifetime drama. Avery Pohl, who appeared in the 2011 film 'Sound of My Voice', plays the resident psychopath Lexi. Our beloved Yellow Galaxy Power Ranger Cerina Vincent, who has appeared as a guest star on hit shows like 'CSI', 'Bones', and 'Two and a Half Men' plays Sierra's mother. Lauryn Speights, Skyler Seymour, and Caia Coley also star.
