'Moon Knight' Episode 6 finale fan review: 'We need a Season 2'

Much of the demand for a second installment had to do with the introduction of Jake Lockley, Marc Spector's third and violent avatar

From some compelling action to a jaw-dropping mid-credits scene, 'Moon Knight' finale had it all and while the six-episode series ended on a solid note, audiences are keen on a season 2. At the time of writing, there was no official confirmation from Marvel Studios that a second installment was in the works. The episode introduced Marc Spector's (Oscar Isaac) third and most violent avatar, Jake Lockley.

From the comments on social media, fans predominantly want a season 2 so that the origins and adventures of Lockley could further be explored. While a sequel isn't a guarantee, it might not be a bad idea considering the reception and success of the show.

'Moon Knight' Episode 6 Mid-credits scene explained: Jake Lockley arrives in brutual style

"God damn was that good! Now the wait for season 2 begins #MoonKnight," one of the fans wrote. This was seconded by another, "Can't wait for the Season 2 renewal for Moon Knight especially after that finale which was originally supposed to be a series finale until @MarvelStudios called episode 6 a season finale. A renewal would make the only credit scene 30x cooler in my humble opinion #MoonKnight."

"#MoonKnightEp6 is mindblowing Superb acting by oscar issac... Jake Lockley was nailed Ethan hawke's Arthur harrow was also great as always #MoonKnight was amazing Hoping for season 2@Kevfeige," one of the fans opined. "#MoonKnight finale spoilers . . . . . The way Layla ate Marc + Steven up in the costume department AND the fight scenes... Like, I need season 2 to follow Layla and Taweret Idgaf about Jake I’m sry I didn’t move a muscle for that man," a tweet read.

"#MoonKnight Going to be extremely honest. I loved this episode, thought everything was great, but it just felt like the ending was just 'snap and you're done'... until those post-credits. Finally got our boy; Jake Lockleys finally here. Now we wait for season 2 and future movies," a comment said.

"That #Moonknight finale had my a*s yelling and s**t at 3 in morning. The series did have very quick pace to it which I hope they fix if they make a Season 2. Overall best MCU show we gotten," one of the fans exclaimed. "I have no idea when we're going to see #MoonKnight again If there was a Season 2 just like Loki it would of been confirmed at the end. The Midnight Sons are way out into the distant future. #MoonKnightFinale," a fan wrote.
