CNCO is a Latin boy band that was formed on the singing program ‘La Banda’ that was created by Simon Cowell and Ricky Martin in 2015. They debuted in 2016 with the hit single ‘Tan Facil’ that topped the iTunes Latino charts. They were the opening acts for Ricky Martin, Ariana Grande, Enrique and Pitbull. CNCO also won several awards at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, Latin American Music Awards, the VMAs, People’s Choice Awards and more. Unfortunately, they will be disbanding and going their separate ways which they revealed while being handed their award by Momoland.

At the 2022 Premios Juventud, CNCO thanked their fans, families and supporters. As the fans were cheering, Momoland was seen at the side of the stage clapping. However, at one point, one of the members, De Jesus shared, “We always thought that if we split, it had to be natural, and that’s how it happened.” At the same time, Momoland member JooE was seen at the back enthusiastically clapping and nodding her head. CNCO’s fans understood that there was no translator on stage and were simply amused with JooE’s reaction.
