'Metal Lords' is an upcoming teen comedy film that will see two high schoolers who form a metal band compete to win a competition. The only hiccup is that they need another member which they find unexpectedly in a cellist. Overcoming obstacles the trio will encompass the spirit of youth, friendship, and passion for doing what they love in the musical watch that is helmed by none other than the creator of 'Game of Thrones'! What is 'Metal Lords' about?

According to the official Netflix synopsis: 'Two kids start a metal band in a high school where exactly two kids care about metal. They can't find a bassist, but there is this one girl who plays the cello. They need to work together if they're going to win the Battle of the Bands.'

Who stars in the Netflix teen comedy movie?

Jaeden Martell as Kevin Schlieb

Jaeden Martell is a popular American teen actor who began his career in 2013. His first acting role was in a commercial for Hot Wheels following which he also starred in commercials for Google, Moneysupermarket.com, Liberty Mutual, Hyundai, Verizon Fios, and General Electric. Martell's first major acting role came in 2014 when he starred alongside Bill Murray in the comedy movie 'St. Vincent'. This role served beneficial for the up-and-coming actor as Murray later recommend him to Cameron Crowe for the film 'Aloha'. He then went on to play the title characters in the 2017 film 'The Book of Henry' and in the miniseries 'Defending Jacob'. Martell has additionally portrayed Morty Smith in a series of promotional interstitials for the fifth season finale of 'Rick and Morty'. His upcoming projects are the Netflix film 'Mr Harrigan's Phone' and 'Tunnels'. Martell plays one of the three leads Kevin Schlieb in 'Metal Lords'.
