Murder mystery is one of Hallmark’s signatures. Adding to this exclusive segment of chilling murder cases, Hallmark dishes out yet another story of super sleuths Detective Kyle Carter and his partner, matchmaker Angie Dove.

‘Matchmaker Mysteries: A Fatal Romance’ releases Saturday, April 25 at 9 pm / 8c only on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries 

Plot

Matchmaker Angie Dove and Detective Kyle Cooper are back. This time, a romance novelist is killed and once again, Angie is entangled into the mystery, only to be partnered with Kyle and solve the mystery and identify the killer. As the lines between truth and lies get blurred and the plot thickens, Angie and Kyle together will dig deeper to find what lies beneath and get justice for the dead author.

Cast 

The murder mystery thriller movie features Danica McKellar, Victor Webster and Bruce Boxleitner in the leading roles.

Danica McKellar as Angie Dove (Hallmark)

McKellar is an American actor who has been a child actor and made a few guest appearances in ‘The Twilight Zone’ followed by her breakthrough in ‘The Wonder Years’. She is also known for her work in ‘DC Super Hero Girls’, ‘Project MC2’ and ‘Young Justice’ among others. 

Victor Webster as Kyle Cooper (Hallmark)

Webster is a Canadian actor from Calgary, who is known for his appearances in movies like ‘Surrogates’, ‘Continuum’, ‘Bringing Down The House’ and ‘Mutant X’, and television shows such as ‘Castle’, ‘Working Moms’ and ‘Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce’, among many others.

Director 

The movie is directed by Terry Ingram and written by Marcy Holland. Ingram is a recognized director and assistant director, known for his work on ‘Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle’ (2004), ‘Blizzard’ (2003) and ‘Odysseus: Voyage to the Underworld’ (2008).
