After a hiatus of over a year, Fox's hit culinary competition show 'MasterChef' is back with Season 11. Season 10's final episode aired in September 2019, which saw Dorian Hunter being crowned as the winner. Since then the fans patiently waited for the announcement of the next season. Although the filming began for Season 11, thanks to Covid-19 pandemic it had to be put on a halt, leaving fans wondering when the show will return. Thankfully Season 11 is about to grace our screens very soon.

The upcoming season is going to be way more intense and challenging for the enthusiastic home cooks than any of the previous seasons. With "Legends" as the theme for Season 11, we can only expect to see some very exciting and nerve-wracking challenges that will test the mettle of the home-cooks who are eyeing the coveted $250,000 grand prize, a complete Viking kitchen and kitchen tools and bakeware products from OXO. 'Masterchef: Legends' Season 11 will premiere on Wednesday, June 2 at 8/7c only on FOX.

Plot

The upcoming season will feature 15 home chefs from across the country competing for a shot at winning the coveted prize of $250,000. The home cooks will have to navigate through a series of intense and increasingly tricky cooking challenges testing their culinary skills to impress the judges in order to proceed to the next round.

FOX describes the show as, "'MasterChef: Legends', featuring award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay, acclaimed chef Aarón Sánchez and renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich, who have invited the most respected, iconic culinary legends, including Emeril Lagasse, Paula Deen, Roy Choi, Nancy Silverton and Morimoto to raise the “steaks” of the competition for the most intense season in 'MasterChef' history."

Cast

Award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay, acclaimed chef Aarón Sánchez and renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich will be returning to host, mentor, and judge the competition. The culinary "Legends" that will be joining alongside the judges to help them mentor and assess the contestants are Emeril Lagasse, Curtis Stone, Sherry Yard and Michael Mina. Fox also confirmed that Paula Deen, Roy Choi, Nancy Silverton and Morimoto will be seen in later episodes.
