'Maska' is set to premiere on Netflix later this month. The Netflix original film seems very fresh, feel-good and mellow from the first look. Find out more about the film below.

Plot

The film revolves around a young Parsi boy harboring Bollywood dreams. Holding him back is an Irani cafe run by his family for generations which he considers turning his back on, to realize his show business dreams.

Manisha Koirala is one of the biggest names on the cast of this film. Last seen on another Netflix original 'Lust Stories, the actress is set to don the avatar of an eccentric Parsi mother, 'Diana', in 'Maska'. 

Prit Kamani

Prit Kamani will be seen essaying the central character 'Rumi' in the film. Before taking to acting full time, Prit used to own a YouTube channel called 'Jumbo Jutts' wherein he along with his friend sang popular English language songs post translating them to Hindi. Some of the songs he covered include Peela - Yellow (Coldplay), Maafi - Sorry (Justin Bieber) and Tera Aakar - Shape of You (Ed Sheeran).

Shirley Setia

Indo-Kiwi singer and now actress Shirley Setia began her journey to showbiz on YouTube wherein she used to upload cover songs as well as her original creations. She tasted fame post her video for 'Tum Hi Ho' from 'Aashiqui 2' went viral and since then has gone ahead to lend her voice to a decent number of hit songs in Bollywood. She was last seen in the 2020 film 'Nikamma' which also featured actress Shilpa Shetty.

Nikita Dutta

Model and actress Nikita Dutta will be seen in the film as well. Her last venture was the Hindi feature film. 'Kabir Singh'. 

Musical teaser

A cast announcement video for the film released last year and had all the four cast members talking about their experience filming this. Each one of them emphasized the fact that the audiences will love what the film has to offer. The trailer for the film is yet to be out, watch this space for more updates.
