Like it or not, June Shannon is a gift that keeps giving. Her interesting life stories make for good TV. But, her family cannot keep up with the constant spotlight that comes with 'Mama June'.

A few weeks ago, Shannon's daughter Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird sent the show's fans into a tizzy when she said she doesn't mind bidding goodbye to reality TV. Will 'Mama June' Season 5 finale be Shannon & Co.'s last episode? Only time will tell.

After Efird's shocker of an interview with Entertainment Tonight, in which she had listed reasons why she was losing touch with unscripted content, Shannon went on Instagram to clarify that they were not going anywhere and there are "big projects" coming up.

"Don’t worry even though next week is the season finale we’re not going anywhere guys I have a huge project that I am very excited to share with you actually a couple of big projects I’m looking forward to sharing with y’all and I think that y’all will really enjoy them," she posted on her feed a week ago.

Her fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Also, even if she hadn't clarified, they didn't have to sweat because she has a lot of stories to tell still. Her relationship with Geno Doak and her kids is a big part of her life. On any given day, she will have enough things and then some more to share with everyone. Weight loss and sobriety are two other important aspects of Shannon's life.

Her relationship with and Doak's relationship is anything but regular. Even though they love each other dearly, their drug-addled lives have kept them from experiencing love fully. From arrests to going bankrupt and homeless, they stuck with each other no matter what. But as 'Mama June' prepares to draw the curtains on the current season, the relationship seems to be heading South.

In a preview clip, we see a group of policemen handcuff Shannon and take her into a car, while Doak stands on the sidelines, assuring her it was being done for her good. It didn't go down well with her and she seemed positively miffed at the stunt he pulled.

Are Doak and Shannon still together after the mock arrest? They have turned over a new leaf. The couple is focused on getting better, fitter, and being sober for their children. Even though the family is in tatters and there's little hope that they will get back to being together, Shannon isn't the one to give up. After all these years, she has realized how important it is to be one another's support, especially during such tough times.

Catch more of Shannon's shenanigans on 'Mama June' Season 5. The finale episode premieres on June 11 on WE tv at 9/8c. For more information, check your local listings.
