TUSKEGEE, ALABAMA: 'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 6 brought intense drama that made headlines in past years. Viewers finally got to witness the behind-the-curtain drama of Mama June's family. During the premiere episode of Season 6, June Shannon revealed that she got married to Justin Stroud after six months of dating.

She revealed that she proposed to Justin while he was in jail, dealing with a probation violation. Shannon and Justin moved to Alabama soon after they got hitched. Besides the wedding, Shannon was also in the headlines for her health scare. Fans can recall that she was hospitalized in September 2022 which was recently shown on the latest season of the We TV show.

June Shannon hospitalized after a severe headache

During the 'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 6 premiere, Shannon revealed multiple health issues during a breakfast date with Justin. However, the reality star later asked her husband to read the menu to her as she can barely see anymore due to untreated cataracts from her childhood. After knowing about the health scares, Justin admitted that he regrets marrying her. However, Shannon noted that she was emotionally messed up and shared she was going through some things. June assumed that Justin wanted a divorce from her, especially because of her ongoing health issues.

But Justin made it clear that he doesn't want a divorce and he just wanted to have a big wedding celebration. However, Justin and Shannon's emotional conversation didn't last very long as the reality star was rushed to the hospital. Shannon was hospitalized after she had severe headaches and dizziness. Notably, the reality star had no idea what was wrong with her. At the end of this week's episode, doctors ran tests on Shannon to go deep into the reality star's health scare.

Pumpkin worried about June Shannon

Soon after Shannon got hospitalized, her daughter Pumpkin called her up to ask about the $800 child support, which she was supposed to pay per month for Alana. During the latest episode, Shannon missed the most recent payment and Pumpkin called her and learned about June’s hospitalization. However, after she shared the news about her health condition, Pumpkin assumed she was on drugs again. However, Shannon insisted that she hadn't used drugs in the last three years.
