SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA: In Season 15 of 'Married At First Sight', Stacia and Nate's relationship has faced several ups and downs. Since communication has been one of their main problems, the most recent episode on Wednesday shows Stacia questioning her choice to tell Nate about her past. She confesses to cheating more than ten years ago, which Nate holds against her, making her wonder whether she will continually be held accountable for her past mistakes.

Although some fans have slammed 'MAFS' Season 15 for being impossible to watch, many viewers have been rooting for Stacia and Nate since the show premiered in July. Despite Stacia's more serious tone, which contrasts with Nate's easygoing disposition, the duo's innate connection delighted 'MAFS' viewers enough for Dr Pia, Pastor Calvin Roberson, and Dr Pepper Schwartz to name them one of the best-matched couples. However, in the September 28 episode of 'MAFS', viewers saw the woman make a shocking statement that left her husband dumbfounded. Nate and Stacia met with Pastor Cal and got real about relationships, so much so that Stacia confessed to prior wrongdoing.

The couple has been married for four weeks, have consummated their marriage, and have shared memories from their childhoods, including an emotional moment when Stacia fell into tears while talking with Nate's father, who raised him as a single parent.

Dr Pepper advised the pair to focus on a resolution by holding hands during difficult talks. When Dr Pepper's 'MAFS' colleague turned to speak with the couple, it resulted in a startling revelation.

In the recent episode, Stacia and Nate discussed their fears with Pastor Cal, and the 'MAFS' specialist spoke about infidelity. Stacia admits to cheating but claims that she is a changed woman. "It happened 10 plus years ago so I’m not that person anymore," Stacia adds.

When Pastor Cal asks Nate about Stacia's confession, it is evident that he is taken aback. "[I feel] just a little bit of disappointment," Nate admits. "You know because I’m married to somebody that has had that experience in the past. I see her a certain way, you know I’m proud to have Stacias as my wife and when I hear something like that it’s just a little alarming because I see her as a great woman, and cheating is, is not really a great thing," he explains.

Pastor Cal then asks Stacia whether she feels "safe" or "comfortable" sharing such details with her spouse. "It’s uh shaky," Stacia remarks. "I don’t know what’s going to happen the next time if I share information, am I going to get judged?" she adds.

The expert then switches the question to Nate as he and his wife are both looking solemn at this point. "If you’re wondering, well she hasn’t told me everything, the question is does she need to?" Pastor Cal inquires.

Fortunately for these two, things don't get too serious until Nate chooses to meet with Stacia's friend Aja and cousin Tameika in the hopes of getting to know his wife better and digging deeper into her history, which includes her cheating on someone.

'MAFS' viewers, on the other hand, were outraged by Nate's reaction to Stacia's revelation in front of Pastor Cal, and making her feel horrible for something she committed over a decade ago. Questioning if Nate's the same person he was 10 years ago, a fan wrote, "'MAFS' viewers, on the other hand, were outraged by Nate's reaction to Stacia's revelation in front of Pastor Cal, making her feel horrible for something she committed over a decade ago."

Bringing up Nate's past, a fan slammed him, "Nate you were out here broke, selling fake bags and filing bankruptcy and you feel a way about Stacia cheating 10+ years ago?!?!? FOH. #MarriedAtFirstSight #MAFS."

Some fans felt men aren't held to these 'ridiculous' standards as they wrote, "Nate is like most men w/ a Madonna-wh*re complex. Because he found out that Stacie cheated 10 YEARS AGO, he now feels as if he can’t respect her & is questioning whether he can love her. Men are never held to these ridiculous standards. It’s utter bulls**t. #MarriedAtFirstSight."

Another fan further slammed Nate and called him "immature" for holding something against Stacia that she did in her 20s, "Stacia cheated in her 20s. Nate have to be very immature to hold that against her #MAFS #MAFSsandiego #MarriedAtFirstSight."

Watching Nate dwell on Stacia's past, fans are doubting if he is trying to check out of the marriage, "Nate is looking for a way out huh? #mafs #marriedatfirstsight."

Another viewer added, "Nate is totally overthinking his love for Stacia!! #MAFSsandiego #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight."

Fans now want Stacia to hold Nate's past against him, "If Nate is judging Stacia for cheating over a decade ago, I guess it ok for her to hold his scams against him #MAFS #MAFSsandiego #MarriedAtFirstSight."

A fan tweeted, "We all had to grow out of that “once a cheater, always a cheater” mindset. Nate clearly isn’t there yet #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight."
