Laughs were shared and tears were shed as 'American Idol' Season 20 kicked off with a two-hour-long audition episode. While contestants like Noah Thompson and Taylor Jalen Fagins left the judges and fans feeling emotional, other contestants like Normandy and Maddie Belle Glidewell had everybody chuckling.

19-year-old Maddie from Glasgow, Kentucky, is a glittery cowgirl who didn't show away from showing off her country-girl persona. With her larger-than-life personality and entertaining banter, Maddie definitely left her mark on not just the judges- Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Katy Perry, but also the show's fans even though she failed to make it through the auditions. The outspoken country singer picked 'Redneck Woman' by Gretchen Wilson as the song of her choice for her audition. Unfortunately, the song wasn't the best fit for her vocals.

Maddie's voice was all over the place. Even though Katy complimented her vocals, the other judges sadly passed upon her. Several fans were upset to see Maddie being sent home without the golden ticket. A fan tweeted, "I agree with @katyperry somethings wrong with your ears @lukebryan @LionelRichie … grace and maddie were the best ones so far this show needs new judges #AmericanIdol." Another fan wrote, "I thought Maddie was pretty good, despite SOME notes! #AmericanIdol." "Big mistake letting her go.," declared a fan. "Maddie Belle Glidewell is a firebrand personality for days. Her singing is rough around the edges pitch not great. She knows how to sing out tho. Losing the rhythm. Awww. I was rooting for her. Too bad. #AmericanIdol #IdolPremiere," expressed a fan.

Even though Maddie didn't make the cut on 'American Idol' after watching her shenanigans on the ABC show, several fans began urging the network to offer her a show of her own. A fan commented, "I can't stop laughing, #MaddieBelle is a hoot on #IdolPremiere and boy does she have a country accent! Sadly Maddie needs a TV show as she is not given a golden ticket! Hope you come back again Maddie Belle! #IdolPremiere so funny!!!" "I'm sorry she didn't get a golden ticket but ABC should 100% give Maddie a variety show. #AmericanIdol," seconded a fan. Even judge Lionel agreed with the idea and shared, "Maddie Belle, I can’t wait to see that show with you and @lukebryan! #AmericanIdol."
