Shae Primus, the CEO of the Middle-Class Matchmaker, is now stepping into her client's shoes. Shae is yearning for love again after her separation from her daughter's father.

Shae, a licensed matchmaker, who connects single, middle-class individuals looking for love, asks her clients to visit with a skilled psychologist to evaluate whether they're mentally prepared for love and physically fit enough to be a match for her picky clientele. Even though everyone wishes for a fantasy, Shae invariably keeps it real. This recently separated mother of two is as desperate to find love for herself as she is for others. Now that she is looking to be matched, she approaches The Matchmaking Duo, whom she believes to be the best in the business.

'Love Match Atlanta': Who is Shae Primus? Atlanta matchmaker always keeps it real

Shae approaches Kelli and Tana to get matched in 'Love Match Atlanta' (BravoTV)

Shae, who arranges matches for couples, does not appear to have found a good one for herself. The 42-year-old TV star has two kids -- a daughter named Ava and a son named Lawrence. The matchmaker, who recently separated from her daughter's father, is now looking for her match. Shae has previously confessed about her failed relationships and their impact on her life in previous episodes' confessionals. Even though she does not let her personal life interfere with her professional life, she admitted to her mother that there was a time when she questioned her career as a matchmaker. The strain of being a matchmaker has been enormous.

So, what should a matchmaker do in this situation? Hire the best service in the industry! When Shae met The Matchmaking Duo for the first time in the premiere episode, before the entire conversation was hijacked by Joseph, she expressed her wish to be matched by the duo. According to Shae, just like therapists do not cure themselves, they seek help from another therapist, or lawyers do not fight their cases, they hire another lawyer - she is approaching The Matchmaking Duo in the same way.

Tana Gilmore, co-owner of the Matchmaking Duo, is eager to take on Shae as a client and assist her in finding love, but her business partner Kelli Fisher has some doubts. It breaks Kelli's heart to see Shae without someone who truly loves or deserves her, which makes her feel that they should help her. Tana, on the other hand, has reservations about accepting Shae as a client because she isn't sure if she will come as a client or as a rival looking to see how The Matchmaking Duo operates.

Tana reveals in the episode's confessional that some of her reluctance to take on Shae is due to Joseph. The Matchmaking Duo attempted to collaborate with RealBlackLove.com's CEO/Founder & Matchmaker, but he stole all of their ideas. Kelli, on the other hand, believes she has grown to know Shae on a personal level, which makes her want to help her. Kelli believes she likes Shae enough to give it a shot, while Shae says she trusts her, but not enough.

Before taking up Shae's case, the Matchmaking Duo eventually decides to meet with her at their office and have a one-on-one talk. Kelli was hoping at the start of the conversation that Shae would calm whatever nerves Tana had about her. Kelli adds that she is #TeamShae, but she is also #TeamDuo. The Matchmaking Duo reveal that every time they tried to collaborate with a friend, it backfired. Tana informs Shae that she is concerned since she is from the industry, and they have never taken on a client from the industry before.

Shae shares how she looks up to The Matchmaking Duo as the matchmaking industry's older sisters. When Shae came to the institute, The Matchmaking Duo was conducting conferences and educating about matchmaking, so she had to approach them for help. She adds that as a matchmaker, she may have blind spots where The Matchmaking Duo's skills could help correctly guide her. Shae admits that she wants to find genuine love and grow old with someone, while also providing Ava with the father figure she needs. Shae pledges to go entirely vulnerable and accept every piece of advice that the duo offers. Finally, The Matchmaking Duo agrees and accepts Shae as a client, only after signing an NDA due to what transpired in the past. Shae wholeheartedly accepts!

Bravo airs a new episode of 'Love Match Atlanta' every Sunday at 9/8c.
