'Love & Listings': Why VH1's hit real estate reality show needs to be renewed for season 2
VH1’s hit real-estate reality show ‘Love & Listings’ wrapped up season 1 with the finale episode which aired on September 23. The finale did give us answers to some of our questions like what happened between Ajani and Andrew. But we still haven’t gotten enough of this very interesting and fun reality show. We still have some unanswered questions and feel that the show needs to be renewed for season 2, in order to get few more answers.
The show was initially pegged as infamous rap mogul Suge Knight’s son Jacob Suge Knight’s journey to rebuild the family legacy as he chose celebrity real-estate business as the way out. Through the course of season1, we only saw him whining and complaining about how he still doesn’t have a real estate license and struggles to prepare for the real estate exam. In the last episode (episode 8), we saw him finally getting the license. We are curious to see how he would be as an agent since up until now he was just “shadowing” his mentor and fellow cast member Tai Savet. We can’t wait to see the young Knight closing some amazing deals and “securing that bag”.
Zac Diles, former NFL player, and Samantha Barretto, celebrity real-estate agent had a little fling back in the day. Zac has moved on since then and was seeing Katrina Jackson of ‘Black Ink Chicago’ fame. But Samantha wasn’t done with Zac yet and expressed her interest in him. Even though Zac tried to put her down gently, but we must give the girl credit for being persistent. She managed to insert herself between Zac & Kat. The couple has reportedly broken up since the show ended, so now it remains to be seen if Zac and Sam rekindle their relationship. Meanwhile, Taylor is busy rebuilding her relationships and working on becoming a better person. It would be great to watch her growth, and also see if Jacob and she finally do end up together.
Fans too are hoping for ‘Love & Listings’ to return with season 2. A fan wrote, “I hope we get a season 2. I liked this show. Just don't turn into Love and Hip Hop. Stay selling houses, having positive moments, mixed with some drama. #LoveandListings”. Another fan tweeted, “Dear @VH1, Season 1 of #LoveAndListings was absolutely amazing, therefore it's a MUST for us to receive a season 2. Thank you!”
