'Love & Listings': Death Row Records producer Suge Knight's son tries to rebuild his family legacy on the reality show

On VH1's new real-estate reality show, Jacob Suge Knight, the son of infamous rap producer Suge Knight shares the troubles that the Knight family went through after his father's arrest and his plan to rebuild the family legacy.

Former rap music mogul and co-founder of Death Row Records Label-Suge Knight is once again in the news. The infamous record producer had been imprisoned for manslaughter three years ago. Things have turned upside down for the Knight family since his arrest. Knight’s son Jacob Suge Knight has decided to turn things around by trying to rebuild his family legacy.

Jacob believes that he can rebuild the family legacy and make a name for himself by becoming a successful real estate agent for high-end clientele in LA. As part of his plan to accomplish his goal, he is trying to get his real-estate license. Real-estate reality show ‘Love & Listings’ follows Jacob’s journey as he tries to build an empire from scratch.

The first episode of the reality show revealed that the Knight family has lost a whopping 300 million dollars since Knight’s imprisonment. Jacob also shares that growing up in Calabassas he was surrounded by celebrities and every luxury imaginable, and now that he has fallen on hard times, he wants to use those celebrity connections to turn his fate around. He wants to sell million-dollar properties to these celebrities and make a name for himself.

The episode also gives us glimpses into how difficult and stressful being in the shadow of Suge Knight can be. But everything isn’t bleak for the young Jacob. He is working hard to get his license, and his 19-year-old girlfriend and fellow co-star Taylor is there to help him.

Fans too are very supportive of Jacob’s endeavors. A fan wrote, “I’m rooting for Jacob to get his Real estate. license and so he can make a name for himself instead of being Suge Knight Child and try not to let the fame get to his head and get lost in his job of being a realtor Selling multi-million dollar houses tough #LoveAndListings”. Another fan showed his approval of Jacob’s decision to get into real estate with, “Ok. Suge Knight’s son is doing his thing with the real estate 💰 #LoveAndListings”. Another fan commented, “Suge Knight son Jacob is very handsome! Needs to stop worrying about living up to his father's hype and just live his own life and be true to himself. #loveandlistings”.

In one of the scenes on the show, Jacob also discussed the complicated relationship he shared with his father, and his raw emotions reverberated with fans strongly. A fan tweeted, “Oh God.... watching Suge Knight’s son literally fight back his tears discussing his relationship with his dad is so disheartening. 💔💔#LoveAndListings
