LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In 2023, 'Love Island USA' aired its fifth season, which saw numerous couples depart together. A pair that remains together is Hannah Wright and Marco Donatelli, despite the fact that several of the couples have broken up.
The pair not only left the Peacock show in love, but they also took home a $100,000 prize. Shortly after the season finished, the two discussed their relationship with Decider.
Hannah and Marco, 'Love Island USA's Season 5 pair, stated that their bond felt the same outside the program as well. Hannah commented that it simply seemed "right."
"If we can go on Walmart runs together, who knows what else we can conquer? I would feel weird if he wasn't here, just because I've been with him the whole time," she added.
While speaking with Decider, the two discussed their connection in further detail. During the chat, Marco mentioned that Hannah had a "friend" in him and that it was the "best thing."
"I remember some nights I had bad days, and I was just so upset, but I was secluded by myself, and I kind of had to sleep on those thoughts. And here, you have a teammate through life. She can grab the meat while I grab the milk. No weird shit there."
Hannah and Marco, the winning pair from 'Love Island USA' Season 5, have been featured on each other's social media profiles since the program ended in 2023. Hannah shared a video of the two of them enjoying their trip to Mexico.
The two were spotted swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying their holiday. Even in postings that do not involve one another, reality TV stars frequently make comments on one another's social media posts.

After six weeks on the 'Love Island USA' villa, Marco and Hannah were voted Season 5 winners based on America's votes. However, the $100,000 reward, which Marco chose to divide with Hannah, was not all they received.
The Islanders announced their relationship at the season finale on August 27. Though they had just finished filming the Peacock reality series, the couple had made it obvious that they wanted to be together and continue their romance in the "real world."
Hannah and Marco, who won the Season 5 finale, explained why their relationship works so well.
“I just feel like this whole time we’ve just been being ourselves. We’re not a perfect anything, and we’ve just been us,” Hannah, a teacher from Palm Springs, stated during the episode. “I just feel really blessed to even just be here right now and to have found love. I feel like that’s really rare.”
Marco, for his part, continued, “We just complement each other so well. This journey has been a roller coaster of emotions . . . Just to stand here as the last couple that America’s chosen is truly an honor.”
Marco Donatelli contemplated for weeks before asking Hannah Wright out in 'Love Island USA' Season 5
In a post-show interview with Vulture, the 'Love Island USA' Season 5 couple discussed their relationship. During the interview, Marco stated that, despite their strong relationship throughout the season, he waited to ask Hannah to be his girlfriend because he wanted to know how his family felt.
"They're everything to me. Once I got the approval from them, I really started thinking about it," Marco said.
He confessed to the 'Love Island USA' Season 5 cast member that he loved her for two weeks before asking her to be his girlfriend. Marco explained that he attempted to ask her while at the resort, but "things would come up."
He chatted with another participant, Bergie Bergersen, who told him that if he waited until the end, the two would have an 'unbelievable date.' Marco took Bergie's counsel and chose to wait.

Hannah and Marco are navigating a long-distance relationship after leaving the villa as the winners of 'Love Island'. She resides in California, while he lives on the other coast in Florida.
The tabloid also questioned the pair about whether they were concerned about the distance, and Marco said that he wasn't since the last thing he needed was a distraction "besides her."
The sixth season of 'Love Island USA' will premiere on Tuesday, June 11 at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT. New episodes will run six days a week for the remainder of the season, much like previous seasons.
