PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 5 finally announced its winner! Hannah Wright and Marco Donatelli bagged a whopping cash prize of $100,000 after winning Season 5.

However, the 'Love Island USA' Season 5 finale viewers suggested that Hannah and Marco didn't deserve to win the Peacock show. The social media users even dubbed the winning couple 'fake'.

The viewers took to Twitter to pen their outrage and noted, "Marco so fake I can’t even stand it. Leo and Kassy made this season worth watching." Another person added, "Hell no YALL HAD ONE JOB WTFFFFF FAKE HANNAH AND WEIRD MARCO WASNT SUPPOSED TO WIN."

Another critic wrote, "If you would’ve told me night one that bergie would make it to the finale & marco’s dumb a** would win the whole thing i would’ve never believed that shit for a second man." Another user said, "Now why y’all let Hannah and Marco win?? 😒"

Another social media user tweeted, "Hannah & Marco winning is underwhelming. They brought nothing to this season. The most exciting thing Marco did was get caught picking his nose and eating it. Kassy & Leo should have won. Byeeeee."

Hannah Wright and Marco Donatelli have been together since Day 3 of 'Love Island USA' Season 5

Marco Donatelli arrived in the Fiji villa on day one and coupled up with Destiny Zamarra which lasted barely 24 hours. However, Hannah Wright arrived in the villa as a Day 2 Bombshell and soon sparked a connection with Marco.

Hannah and Marco coupled up on day three during the first recoupling ceremony, and they remained together the entire season. In each episode, Marco and Hannah watered their connection instead of getting to know other islanders.

Notably, Marco and Hannah came as the strongest couple in the villa as they soon realized that they shared something special and didn't think it was worth risking it just to get to know other people.

Hannah Wright and Marco Donatelli were first couple to close off before Casa Amor twist

Just before the Casa Amor twist, Hannah Wright and Marco Donatelli assured each other to stay loyal and became the first couple to 'close off'. The couple didn't waste their time in knowing any Casa Amor bombshells.

Notably, Hannah and Marco spent their Casa Amor nights sleeping outside instead of bunking in a bed with a bombshell.

Even when 'Love Island USA' tried to tempt Marco by bringing in his ex-girlfriend Hannah Ortega, he proved his loyalty by letting his ex know the door was closed.

Hannah was slightly nervous when she saw footage of Marco and Ortega on a date, but she trusted Marco enough to believe he only wanted to be with her. The couple have had a very secure connection at the villa, which will likely last in the outside world.
