'Love Island USA' fans blame Andrea Carmona for her 'poor connection' with the girls upon elimination
MAMANUCA ISLANDS, FIJI: There will only be two winners of 'Love Island USA' Season 6. However, Episode 12 included two contestants who did not make the cut. Once Andrea Carmona exited the villa, fans couldn't help but congratulate the ladies who made the final decision.
It was a crazy fan vote and double elimination, the first of the season. A few days prior to the vote, Andrea unexpectedly broke up with one of the biggest couples in the group by showing up at the villa.
While some supported her choice because bombshells are almost always placed in such circumstances, others attacked Andrea on the internet at once. Not only did many disparaging remarks appear beneath her social media posts, but many also expressed their intention to vote her out as soon as possible.
With a dumping ceremony in which fans had the ability to save their favorite pairs, the saved female competitors seized the opportunity and successfully evicted Andrea from Fiji.
Shortly after, fans took to social media to NOT complain about the situation.
On Reddit, a fan claimed, "Andrea literally made zero connection with the girls outside of Nicole. It’s not surprising they chose her." Another person chimed in, "Andrea was a great pick for the girls. If Rob and Andrea’s connection is that strong, they’ve found their matches and can continue in the real world. The other girls deserve to find their matches."
Some users suggested, "Maybe Andrea should’ve been nicer to the girls and not said f--k them all for Rob." A fourth user wrote, "Andrea and Rob do not have a strong connection. If their connection is “so strong”, they’ll have no issue continuing it outside of the villa. JaNa and Nicole deserve to find someone."
One user quipped, "Andrea this is why you should’ve made friends with the girls instead of being an a--hole to them lmao." "Andrea girl should’ve been nicer sorry lol," joked another.
Robert 'Rob' Rausch wants to quit 'Love Island USA' Season 6 as Andrea Carmona gets eliminated
As Andrea is given 30 minutes to leave the villa, her present connection, Robert "Rob" Rausch threatens to quit too. Host Ariana Madix suggests he shouldn't do that, but she'd understand if he did.
Even though Episode 12 ended on a cliffhanger, the preview showed Rob continuing to cry and further breaking down. He previously chastised the girls for sending Andrea home on the verge of them getting to know each other so well.
Who is still in the villa on 'Love Island USA' Season 6?
Following the double elimination, 'Love Island' is left with five couples and two singles. The couples that continue to explore their love in the villa are Connor Newsum and Leah Kateb, Serena Page and Kordell Beckham, Miguel Harichi and Olivia "Liv" Walker, Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans, and Kendall Washington and Nicole Jacky.
The women save JaNa Craig, booting Andrea in the process. This left Rob alone and heartbroken.
When it came to the boys, they decided to kick out Hakeem White. Previously, Rob, Kendall, and Hakeem were on the chopping block.
