'Love Island Games' took the participants to the stunning landscapes of Fiji, commencing filming in September 2023. Fiji boasts picturesque islands, palm-fringed shores, and vibrant coral reefs.
The contestants will indulge in a lavish villa, and a trailer clip even shows one of the stars on a yacht. Undoubtedly, they will have every luxury while competing for victory.
Who will host 'Love Island Games'?
'Love Island Games' will be hosted by Maya Jama and it is to be narrated by Iain Stirling. The 29-year-old Maya is a TV presenter and a radio DJ.
She boasts an extensive history as a presenter, having co-hosted BBC One's 'Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer,' 'Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-Up Star,' and even 'Love Island.'
On the other hand, Iain is a Scottish comedian, TV presenter, and narrator.
What will 'Love Island Games' be about?
'Love Island Games' official synopsis claims, "Set in Fiji, the first season of Peacock’s 'LOVE ISLAND GAMES' will bring together fan-favorite Islanders from various Love Island series across the globe – USA, UK, Australia and beyond – for a second shot at love as they compete in a brand-new format to be crowned champions of LOVE ISLAND GAMES."
It adds, "In this cheeky new iteration, romance will meet reality as fan-favorite Islanders are faced with both team and couples’ challenges, all while navigating dating, eliminations, recoupling, dramatic arrivals and new competition twists and turns like never before."
The trailer of the show claims that there will be controversy, love triangles, allegations, and romances.
When will 'Love Island Games' release?
'Love Island Games' is set to premiere on November 1, 2023, at 9 pm ET on Peacock, with episodes airing six days a week, excluding Saturdays, mirroring the schedule of its UK counterpart.
Peacock Premium costs around $6 a month or $60 a year. However, if one wants to watch the series without any ads, then they can opt for the Peacock Premium Plus plan which costs $12 a month or $120 for a yearly subscription.
