'Love Island USA' Season 6 fans claim Serena Page 'used' Kordell Beckham to avoid elimination
MAMANUCA ISLANDS, FIJI: In Week 2 of 'Love Island USA' Season 6, shocking recouplings took center stage, with one of the most controversial being Kordell Beckham and Serena Page, according to fans and some cast members alike. After observing Serena chatting up new bombshell Miguel Harichi, fans feel she is 'using' Kordell simply to extend her stay on the island.
As soon as the new bombshell, Miguel, walked in, all the girls on the island rushed to him, including Serena, who was notably upset when her close friend JaNa Craig dared to interrupt her one-on-one conversation with Miguel.
But when it was announced that a girl would be leaving the show after the June 21 episode, Serena was spotted securing her spot by sweet-talking her on-and-off connection, Kordell.
At one point, the boys on the island were seen warning Kordell about Serena's intentions and questioning whether this was what he wanted in a relationship. Despite the doubts cast in his head, Kordell ended up choosing Serena, sending shockwaves through the island and viewers at home.
On Reddit, fans were quick to call out Serena's hypocrisy, with one writing, "Serena is so annoying. Yesterday she said she wanted to give Kordell another chance now she’s laughing, giggling, and falling over the bombshell. Bad vibes." Another fan added, "Serena… everyone is interrupting everyone lmao. Also what happened to you liking Kordell? That stopped quickly."
One fan noted, "Anybody that thought Serena was genuine with wanting to give Kordell another chance is DUMB AF. You don’t get to have any more opinions on this show!" One fan sighed, "Kordell is still gonna pick Serena at the ceremony but it’s gonna bite him in the a** the next time it’s girls pick 😶."
One fan wrote, "I wanted Serena gone, I’m sorry. Nothing against her, but she’s gonna use the hell out of Kordell." Another added, "Serena saying out loud that Kordell is her number one yet not looking him in the eye even ONCE during this convo girl…..At least they are clocking her a**."
Who went home after Week 2 on 'Love Island USA' Season 6?
After failing to secure a connection with the men on the island, Hannah Smith was forced to bid adieu to her friends on the show. After being single on the show, she had hoped to build a connection with the new bombshell, Miguel.
However, to everyone's surprise, and even the girl herself, Miguel chooses to couple up with Olivia 'Liv' Walker, leaving Hannah alone and ultimately prompting her to leave the show.
Serena Page calls out 'Love Island USA' costar JaNa Craig for interrupting her time with Miguel Harichi
Upon entry, Miguel was immediately pulled aside by nearly every girl. What was funny was that he had no time to sit and soak up the experience as he was getting interrupted by one girl after another, each eager to secure a connection by the end of the week.
After seeing her connection, Connor Newsum gravitated towards her newly single friend, Leah Kateb, JaNA decided to pull Miguel aside for a chat. Before she could finish, however, they were interrupted by the other girls, although JaNa managed to offer to make Miguel some eggs.
When Serena finally got hold of Miguel for a one-on-one conversation, JaNa approached them, offering Miguel the eggs she had made. This interruption made Serena visibly upset, prompting her to apologize multiple times in an attempt to mend things.
