'Love Is Blind' Season 4: Bliss Poureetezadi breaks down after Zack Goytowski picks Irina Solomonova
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON: Netflix drops the first five episodes of the highly anticipated blind dating show, 'Love Is Blind' season 4. The latest season kicked off with the eligible singles seeking their soulmates. While some have already gotten engaged, a few singles are still trying their luck.
Meanwhile, after going on multiple blind dates with Bliss Poureetezadi and Irina Solomonova, Zack Goytowski has fallen in love with both. Zack has to make a harsh decision to ditch one and propose to his soulmate. Notably, there's no guarantee that Zack has chosen the right one! Why did Zack Goytowski ditch Bliss Poureetezadi?
Zack and Bliss went on multiple blind dates and deep down, they also had feelings for each other. During an episode of the Netflix show, Bliss and Zack talked about their family and how they will live happily together. But Bliss noted that her dad has never liked any of her exes. She said, "My dad doesn't like my exes. They just weren't enough good for him. I don’t know that my dad will think anyone is ever good enough for me." Bliss's statement made Zack insecure as he was raised by a single stripper mom. Zack shared his insecurity with Bliss and said, "I've had that happen to me before where someone's family would judge me because of how I grew up and how I was raised. It makes me nervous."
Meanwhile, Zack feels that Irina or her family are never going to judge him and his background. He ultimately made the toughest decision of his life and ended up choosing Irina. During the last date with Zack, Bliss confessed how much he means to her. Bliss reads a quote for Zack, "In adult life, they meet people who fall in love with their false self, but this love doesn't last. True love has the power to redeem. Love saves us." Bliss was not the only one who moved away with the breakup as Zack also sobbed soon after parting ways with her.
Did Zack Goytowski make the right choice?
Zack and Irina didn't spark the connection during their first blind date. But after dating Bliss, Zack got down to one knee and popped the question to Irina. Zack has always been insecure about his past and he wanted someone who can accept him with his past. Notably, Zack gifted a very special teddy bear to Irina. While gifting the teddy, Zack recalled, "The story with Ralph, I’ve had him since I was three. I didn’t have any stability as a kid. I would move every three months. Sometimes I was in totally new home and place but Ralph was the only thing that he took with him." He added, "When my mom died, I found him in a box that she was still holding onto. So I thought I'd bring him with me for one more trip."
Zack's confession about his past didn't affect Irina and that's when he knew she is the one. Later in the episode, Zack explained, "When we first met here in the pods I told you that I was homeless... and that I lived under an underpass. And you didn't care. I'm not sure if you knew I was joking or not, but I knew that there was something special about you."
Zack further gushed, "And I've seen the woman that you are at the core. And I know that you would never give up on me." During a confessional clip, Zack admitted that he want to marry someone who was "marrying me because she loves who I am as a person." However, it will be interesting to know whether Zack and Irina's relationship continues even after living together.
