Is Lil Yachty OK?
Lil Yachty, who is one of the performers at this year’s Rolling Loud Miami, was on his way to the event with his crew members in a black van. Though it is not clear what exactly happened, the viral videos that surfaced on Twitter showed the rapper’s van completely damaged on the right side. The vehicle was no longer in a position to maneuver.
The video also shows Lil Yachty swiftly moving to another black van as his crew members also made their way out of the damaged van. Speaking of Rolling Loud Miami, Kanye West backed out of the event as a headliner. His friend turned foe Kid Cudi was then brought in as his replacement.
The publication Deadline got in touch with Rolling Loud co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler to shed light on why Kanye backed out of the festival. “We were looking forward to Ye headlining Rolling Loud Miami 2022. We spent months working with him and his team on the performance. Unfortunately, Ye has decided that he will no longer be performing,” they said of his departure in the joint statement. The duo added, “This is the first time a headliner has ever pulled off our show and though we don’t take it lightly, we wish him the best. We look forward to welcoming Kid Cudi as a headliner in Miami and we can’t wait to see what he has in store.” Rolling Loud Miami will be held from July 22 to July 24 at the Hard Rock Stadium.
