LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It is true that language transcends us to a different realm of consciousness and different languages embedded in cinema is nothing but a big cherry on top. The fact that filmmakers go ahead with the dialogues being spoken in the region that the film is taking place is quite unique and interesting. 'Liaison' dropped its first episode on Apple TV+ and there's a list of things to talk about. Although the genre is overused at this point, there is something about the French-English spy thriller that just stands out.

With Vincent Cassel and Eva Green in the lead, the pair has done an exceptional job to bring justice to their character, If you think it might be too soon to draw conclusions, just watch 'Black Swan' and 'Casino Royale' to get a proper understanding how exceptional these actors are.

The unique conclusive aspect

Language has taken the wheel in Apple TV+' 'Liaison'. The series features multiple landscapes like Damascus, London and Paris. The diverse speech from these regions are given utmost respect and consideration while adding it into the script and actors fluently speaking the language while adapting perfectly to their character. Yes, it will surely give you a neck spasm from continuously going back and forth from subtitles to the action, but its totally worth it. 'Liaison' has a complex political plot involving the French government and two top advisors to the president, La Roche (Irène Jacob) and Didier (Stanislas Merhar) who are constantly speaking in their native tongue - French. The whole cast makes you believe in the world of 'Liaison' and helps you understand the character in a much deeper sense. The emotions and expressions comes out easily when the language isn't lost in translation. For people who speak French, we have some good news for you!

Lots of stunts, fights and betrayal

As an espionage thriller series, there ought to be jam-packed action. There's lots of action for the people in love with that genre, and just enough of spying and romance to keep others tuned in as well. As a series involving national security, we're hoping some suspected bad guys aren't bad at all and there will be a plot involving double agent or triple agent officers, with loads of treachery in the coming episodes. Till then, go watch episode one of action-thriller 'Liaison' exclusively on Apple TV+.
