Yes, it will surely give you a neck spasm from continuously going back and forth from subtitles to the action, but its totally worth it. 'Liaison' has a complex political plot involving the French government and two top advisors to the president, La Roche (Irène Jacob) and Didier (Stanislas Merhar) who are constantly speaking in their native tongue - French. The whole cast makes you believe in the world of 'Liaison' and helps you understand the character in a much deeper sense. The emotions and expressions comes out easily when the language isn't lost in translation. For people who speak French, we have some good news for you!
Lots of stunts, fights and betrayal
As an espionage thriller series, there ought to be jam-packed action. There's lots of action for the people in love with that genre, and just enough of spying and romance to keep others tuned in as well.
