'Let it Snow': Release date, plot, cast, trailer, and everything you need to know about Netflix's young adult romcom

Over a decade after three different short stories from Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle came together to form a beautifully intertwined young adult story - 'Let it Snow'. The book is finally arriving as a movie just in time for the snow and cold to set in. With a plethora of Netflix romcoms missing the mark on what today's young adult audience considers passable, the upcoming book-turned-film will follow Green's other remarkable work 'Looking for Alaska' that premiered to overwhelming fan response earlier in October on the streaming network Hulu. And for those still reeling under the miracle of Green's works, 'Let it Snow'

Plot:

According to the official synopsis, "In a small town on Christmas Eve, a snowstorm brings together a group of young people." The small town, Gracetown is a close-knit circle, yet somehow our characters' paths from the three different stories developing side by side only coincide when they are stuck on their own, following the biggest blizzard the town has known. As they navigate through the snow, three love stories come together to one of the most unexpected outcomes!

Cast:

The cast is a massive one: From Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's Kiernan Shipka to Ladybird's Odeya Rush, the film will star Joan Cusack, alongside Marvel's new age 'Spider-man' franchise actor Jacob Batalon. Shameik Moore, Mitchell Hope, Mason Gooding, Liv Hewson, Miles Robbins, Anna Akana, Victor Rivers, and Genevieve DeGraves also star.

Creator: 

Based on the collaborative works by Johnson, Green, and Myracle from the book, the film is being directed by Luke Snellin from a screenplay that has been adapted by Victoria Strouse.
