Spoilers for Episode 8

Two mega houses were formed at the end of the 'Capes & Tights' Ball. Mother Eyricka Lanvin had decided to team up with the Gorgeous Guccis, forming the mega house of LaGorgeous for the semi-finals episode. Battling them were the Balmains and Escadas who formed the mega house of BalScada. The theme for the semifinal ball was 'Atlantis' and at the end of it, winning 3 out of 5 categories, BalScadas were the ones advancing to the finals.

This meant that LaGorgeous had to split up and return to the floor one last time as individual houses and battle it out to secure their space in the competition.

Eyricka chose Makaylah for the final vogue down. In the past, the latter has managed to save her house from elimination twice and she was tasked with saving her house one more time. Jeter Gucci's performances have been commended by the judges in the past, especially his solo routine in the 'Remember the Times' wherein he was praised for single-handedly raising the bar of that performance by all the judges. He was going up against Makaylah to save his house from elimination and secure a space for the Gorgeous Guccis in the finale.

Both performers pulled out all stops for the battle. Makaylah, at one point, even ran up and down a wall on the stage during the battle. Jeter Gucci focused on bringing in all the five elements of vogue in his performance. It was now time for the judges to vote on who managed to stay in the competition and none of them were able to overlook the fact that Makaylah pulled off that run up a wall.

Megan, Jameela and Tamar Braxton who were the guest judges for the episode voted for Makaylah and this meant that it was time for the Gorgeous Guccis to bid farewell to the competition. Before leaving, Jarell, father of the House of Gorgeous Gucci, wanted to seek clarity about something that happened earlier in the competition.

While voting for the second category, Tamar couldn't recall the name of the house she wanted to vote for and turned to Leiomy for help. Jarrell had watched this transpire from backstage. He misunderstood that exchange and confronted Tamar, insinuating that her judgment was influenced by Leiomy. However, Leiomy cleared the air about what really happened and Tamar too said that she had no reason to diminish his house or their work.
