'Legacies' Season 2 Episode 4 will see a Samurai visit the Salvatore School as Landon and Rafael try to learn more about Hope
'Legacies' did not air an episode last week as it took a break for Halloween, however, worry not fans, as the show is airing the fourth episode of its second season. Certainly, after that unexpected ending to the last episode, we have a lot of questions. Though we don't expect proper answers soon, we still need our clues!
To refresh, after Hope, Landon, and Rafael (now in human form) defeated and killed the werewolf-eating monster that was actually after Landon, we saw Headmaster Vardemus take a nighttime stroll and opening his mouth wide -- and we mean really wide -- to eat the monster.
Vardemus might not be able to satisfy his cravings this week since this week's monster will be a ghost -- a demon that possesses its victims. But this time, Hope and company will have assistance in the form of a Samurai to catch this monster. In the promo released, we see that the ghost manages to possess at least three people, namely, Lizzie, Rafael, and Landon, as their eyes start to glow red.
We will see Josie take on sort of a leadership role as she leads the charge to protect her friends from the demon's wrath, but we don't know if this means she is going to indulge her dark magic. Maybe she might use some ancient Japanese magic since it seems like she knows the language.
After Hope helped turn Rafael back in last week's episode, we will see the latter and Landon visit Mystic Falls High to find out more about the (to them) mysterious Hope. Landon might connect her with the flashes he saw when repeatedly ending his life in the season premiere. From promotional pictures, we also see that Lizzie is spending a lot of time with her new vampire "friend" Sebastian as they head out for a romantic picnic. However, MG finds out a secret about him and will be conflicted about it.
Finally, we will get to see Alaric interact more with the new sheriff, who is also mother to Maya and Ethan, Hope's new friends who are both enamored with her. He lets his guard down with her, but a confrontation with a demon will force him to reevaluate his priorities.
