'Legacies' Season 2 Episode 14 will not air this week, here's what you can expect when it returns
Viewers might be disappointed to know that an episode of 'Legacies' will not be airing this week. The show is going on nearly a month-long scheduled break.
Considering how the last couple of episodes turned out, this wait is too long. When Alyssa Chang sends the Saltzman twins (Lizzie and Josie) and their father Alaric to the prison world that hosted Kai Parker, it unleashed a chain of events.
For one, Kai managed to escape the prison world using the Malivore pit in that world. He did tell Josie that she could escape if she broke the mora miserium and became dark Josie. She would then be powerful enough to spell her way out.
So, Josie became dark Josie. However, that part of her went away when they returned to the real world. This leaves the potential for dark Josie to come back at any point in the show. Moreover, the necromancer is also interested in Josie because of her power. So it is quite likely we will be seeing dark Josie soon enough.
The only casualties from the two-part episodes that featured Kai Parker were Kai himself and Sebastian. Sebastian did try to turn Lizzie into a vampire and make her stay by spiking her glass of wine without her knowledge. He may have redeemed himself when he took over the position of the anchor for the prison world from Alaric. However, the prison world was unstable and collapsed, and presumably, Sebastian died along with it.
The next episode will only air on March 12. However, it won't be like any normal episode we have seen on 'Legacies' before. Since the vampires at the school are mostly children, we haven't had a chance to see flashbacks.
But it looks like the monster in the next episode may be one that could just facilitate that, though Emma says in the promo that it is "merely a simulation". The promo for the episode shows that the episode will be in black and white and set in an alternate world.
Professor Vardemus is back as well and apparently, he is Sherlock Holmes. Landon seems to be missing and it looks like someone is trying to kill Lizzie. The promo suggests that it could be Josie herself after she "rewrote the rules".
'Legacies' airs on The CW on Thursday nights at 9/8c. The next episode will air on March 12. Watch the promo below.
