'Legacies' Season 2 Episode 11 Preview: Will Hope be able to save the Saltzmans from Kai Parker?

There's a new monster in town and it's on theme considering Valentine's Day is not far away. It's the Cupid who happens to be a bloodthirsty, fang-wielding monster 

In last week's episode of 'Legacies', thanks to witch Alyssa Chang's (Olivia Liang) thirst for revenge, Alaric Saltzman (Matthew Davis) and his daughters, Josie (Kaylee Bryant) and Lizzie (Jenny Boyd), found themselves in the same prison world the twins had made when they were five years old -- the one that houses Kai Parker, the twins' bio-mom's twin brother and murderer.

Though Alyssa placed a time delay spell to transport the Saltzmans to the prison world, Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell) realizes what happens when the twins disappear as she shares a moment with them. She immediately suspects Alyssa. But, it doesn't seem like Alyssa would be much help.

In this week's episode, Hope will be leading the charge to save the Saltzmans. In doing so, she enlists MG's (Quincy Fouse) help -- interrupting his attempt at a perfect first date with Kym (Ebboney Wilson) -- Kaleb's (Chris Lee) sister. 

Meanwhile, there's a new monster in town -- and it's on theme considering Valentine's Day is not far away. The Cupid shows up and spreads love. However, this being 'Legacies', the Cupid also happens to be a bloodthirsty, fang-wielding monster.  Hope entrusts Landon Kirby (Aria Shahghasemi) with keeping an eye on the monster. Landon will want to prove himself useful. We saw in the last episode that he had a complex of not being the hero. He had asked Hope's help in self-defense training, but Hope did not want him to be the typical hero.

Of course, last week's episode proved that Landon is a hero in his own way. It is his belief in Wade (Elijah B. Moore) and his sacrifice that helped Wade finally find the power to defeat the monster in that episode.

We might also see a bit of the Saltzmans in the prison world. In the last episode, we also realized that Alaric sent troublesome students to this prison world, and so, Lizzie's flame, the ancient vampire, Sebastian (Thomas Doherty) is also there.

'Legacies' airs on The CW on Thursday nights at 9/8c.
