The photos seem to be giving an indication that finally, a character from ‘SVU’ will be exiting the show on a happy note, which is quite a surprising thing in the ‘Law & Order’ universe.

Giddish made her ‘Special Victims Unit’ debut in Season 13 and has been the main cast member since then. As of now, the actor has appeared in more than 226 episodes and announced in August 2022 that she would be leaving the series after 12 seasons. Giddish shared a statement on Instagram and noted that playing Rollins has been “one of the greatest joys” of her life, but it’s time to hang up her shoes and move on. She added, “There is simply no other character on TV like Rollins. She’s grown and changed, and I have as well. I started on this show when I was in my late 20s and I’m grateful I got to spend so many of my adult years with Rollins in my life.”
