In the previous episode of ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ Season 23, we saw a young woman finding the truth about her biological parents. She asks Benson for help and we learn that she was conceived after her biological father sexually assaulted her biological mother. Meanwhile, Carisi (Peter Scanavino) and Rollins (Kelli Giddish) told teammates about their relationship and are happy for them.

However, in the latest episode, things are about to get intense because of a case that involves sexual harassment. So, the episode begins with Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Trevor attending a silent auction where they meet a popular radio personality, Bob Flynn (Jake Weber). We see Bob following a woman named Ellen Kaplan (Laura Kai Chen) in a room where he cornered her and told her that he wanted her. Ellen said no, to which Bob replied that no one says no to Bob.

'Law & Order: SVU' Season 23 Episode 13: Carisi, Rollins's relationship is finally OUT

A few moments later we see Ellen and her husband Mitch visiting the SVU for filing a complaint against Bob, who groped Ellen. The interrogation makes the SVU realize that Bob has the tendency of getting too friendly with the wives of his associates. Suddenly, Ellen made the decision not to pursue the case and told Benson that Bob will ruin Mitch’s business if she moves forward with the case. But she also reveals that Bob cornered her and raped her.

The team decided that Rollins will be going undercover at Bob’s book signing and ADA Carisi posed as her husband. He called Rollins to a room and forced himself onto her. The radio personality told her that he once killed a man for stopping him from what he wanted to do. To get out of the situation, Rollins told him that she is a private investigator for the Kaplan’s. Benson was really angry when she got to know that Rollins told him a vital piece of information, but Rollins still wanted to work on the case. Benson allowed her to keep working.

She visited Bob again and he told her that she should work for him. He will increase her pay and wanted to know what the Kaplan’s are doing next. However, he kept on making sexual advances on her. Rollins was firm and showed him the gun she possessed to cool him off. In the end, he hired her and warned her that she should not triple cross him.

Meanwhile, back at the SVU, the team finds a case file about the murder that took place almost a decade ago, and the murder was committed in the same way Bob talked about. A man named Ken was murdered and he was friends with Bob. They met Kent’s widow, Lola, and said that Bob would do anything for attention. However, Bob shares audio with Rollins that revealed that Ken and her wife were involved in a scam. After gathering this piece of information, SVU decided that Rollins should keep working for Bob so that they get more info.

The team makes a plan to catch Bob in the act. Velasco went undercover as well and acted like a hitman who tried to confront them at gunpoint. Bob knew he was being recorded and taped, so he took the gun and put it to Velasco’s chest. He didn’t pull the trigger and told him to leave. Police arrived at the scene and arrested Bob.

The radio personality sought bail and was talking about the case on his show. At that moment, Mitch entered his office with a gun and pointed the gun at him. Bob felt that Mitch won’t shoot him, but he actually did. He shot Bob twice in his heart and everyone, including SVU, saw him getting shot during the LIVE stream.
