Kim Kardashian promotes SKIMS holiday line in ‘skimpy’ bikini, Internet complains ‘it’s too small’

Well, that’s precisely what Kim Kardashian thought as she released her new SKIMS holiday line. And we all know how much Kim loves to promote her brand so it is not surprising to see the reality star and business mogul give fans a peek as she shows off a new product on Instagram.
In her latest post, 'The Kardashians' star posed in skimpy little bikinis from her new line. Captioned, “S K I M S holiday shop available now.” It is evident that Kim intended the series of pictures as a way to let her fans and followers know about her new products. The photos mostly focus on the black bikini, reportedly embellished with Swaroski crystals, and Kim’s toned figure. There is also a video among the slew of photos that shows Kim wearing a tan version of the bikini set in the dark as someone flashes a light on the star, causing the many Swarovski crystals to sparkle. While the star no doubt looks stunning in her latest creation, some people on the internet, on the other hand, were not too impressed. A few noted that the “itsy bitsy” lingerie was too small.

One netizen commented on her Instagram post, “Doesn’t fit. Too small.” While another added, “Its supposed to cover the nipple.” A person also questioned the SKIMS founder, “You couldn’t find one that fit?”
And one cheekily wrote, “Okayyy but I’ve big purr energy, how is she supposed to fit in this s**t?!?!?” Another said, “How much exactly is that dental floss and two coasters?”
It’s not the first time that the internet has criticized Kim’s SKIMS line. A Reddit thread dedicated to the topic also called out the quality of ‘The Keeping Up With The Kardashian’ star’s products. Many people have expressed that they are not satisfied with SKIMS, with one person writing, “The problem with skims is that they spend so much time creating new collections, that they probably fail to increase the quality of the core of the brand, which is the shape wear.”
Whereas one compared the brand to Target, “I just met someone the other day who looked like she was wearing a Skims top and pants - and she said they weren’t, they were from Target and she loves them. So everyone head over there!”
Another social media user said, “Yeah I heard a lot of people say that target has similar items that resemble skims and that they’re affordable as well as comfy. Even Dream Kardashian hyped the target brand up lol.”
An individual even noted, “Everything I’ve bought from there falls apart very quickly or it doesn’t fit me at all.” One person said, “It’s becoming too obvious that SKIMS has become a cash grab for Kim when in the beginning the quality was worth the price,” noting that SKIM does not offer products worth the price anymore.
Even the tiny Sworoski bikini that barely covers Kim’s assets in her new post has been priced at $98, while the bottoms cost $78. We wonder what the internet will have to say about that!
